The 1990 live version of this great song proves beyond a shadow of a doubt Belinda was no lightweight. So diffrent to watch a concert back then with no mobile phones. People were really present back then during concerts and just watch the performances and enjoyed that. Wish that concerts were like that today. When I go to concerts I rarely use my mobile phone and I just enjoy the music and the company that I´m in. 🙂Would love to see a Berlinda Carlisle concert. I remember seeing her in concert during this time. Everyone was expecting to hear mostly GoGos songs and was disappointed when she played mostly solo stuff. Unfortunate but true. But I believe this to be some of BC's best music. I love GoGos but this was deeper and more meaningful and so it struck a chord with me more. Only now when we re-visit this can we really appreciate the real magic that happened back then. No lip-sync - completely real, live and with emotion...

Highretrogamelord She has a beautiful voice, but not a very strong one. There's a reason she always has back-up singers. I saw a couple of live performances of La Luna where she barely made it through the song. She even joked during one of them that if the audience was drunk, she would sound better to them. lol But she is one of those artists where even if she doesn't always sound great live, it still works because she has a great stage persona. And don't think this is some kind of an attack on her, because I always liked her, I'm just telling it like I see it.
