Ambre nuit is nice but not my style, also it definitely has been watered down, because it used to perform much better, I’d go with Xerjoff they never let you down when it comes to performance 💎💎💎

40 knots is a beast but smells completely different to Ambre Nuit.. I'm not a fan of 40 knots.. too dense woody, mature smelling

100% agree. Smells great but the performance is weak! Becomes a skin/clothes scent within an hour. Disappointing because it smells good!

I like it. But I only bought the smaller version because I didn’t love it. I’ve heard the same thing about older batches. I don’t think I would rebuy it either. But it’s a beautiful fragrance. Keep us posted on how 40 Knots is. Thanks for sharing 💕

I have a sample of 40 Knots, I did not like it. Just my taste, not fresh at all imo. Performance is good, its more a cold weather scent to me. But when we go there , we have a lot better for cheaper imo. grtz

I did my research on that one last year & decided to fall back💯 I wuz' hearing that Dua's version, Arabian Amber Nuit had way better performance than even the old batches of the OG.. I got that one & it damn sure lasted long (several hrs).. But that scent profile is a bit too feminine for me.. Not bad though

I bought this in April of this year. It was a huge disappointment. Zero longevity, and super intimate scent bubble. A real let down for the $$ it cost from the Dior website..

I’ve got the DUA version, and tested the original, it’s a strange experience, if I spray the back of my hand straight away it’s great, after about 15 mins it feels like it’s gone, even smelling my hand close up. But then if I go about my day I get strong random wafts of fragrance!? But still can’t smell it close up!? Could it be the scent profile making us go a bit nose blind?
