Harrods and Dior have launched their MISSDIOR Pop-Up for Auguat 2024 featuring the Dior Autumn-Winter 2024-25 Collection which launched on 31.07.2024. This is the Dior runway collection that I was invited to attend at Paris Fashion Week in February 2024. I will show you items from the Dior MissDior Autumn-Winter 2024-25 collection including ready-to-wear, shoes and bags as well as Harrods exclusive colours from the Dior MISSDIOR capsule.
Also known as the Dior MissDior AW24 Collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri's latest collection plays homage to Marc Bohan's 1967 MissDior collection which was Dior's very first ready-to-wear collection. Prior to the Dior 1967 Collection, everything was couture only. The Miss Dior logo has been resurrected fro, 1967 and emblazoned as a form of graffiti prints ontop of key pieces of ready-to-wear such as trench coats, shirts and blazers as well we miniaturised as a new Dior monogrammed print on knitted skirts and jackets evocative of the swinging sixties fashion.

I quite like some of it, I would pick the colourful pieces over the neutrals, but on saying that I liked the black/white flap bags

That’s refreshing to know; you’re the first person who’s said you’d prefer the colours. I’m pretty sure the colours appeal to many, especially in warmer climates. The white/black flap bag to me is a key souvenir from this collection. Almost a time capsule that won’t date. 😘

Hello Kara U look fabulous in your Miss Dior outfit 😊. So chic and stylish ❤ Yesterday i went to my local Dior boutique and my SA asked me to try on a handmade leather skirt with cannage pattern. It was shown in your previous video. Skirt is nice but too edgy for me. After the try on, i think Dior's softest cotton skirts remain my favourite ❤ Did u buy anything from the Dioramour collection? I bought the long blouse and the matching skirt.. the print is soooo sweet and romantic ❤. Enjoy the rest of your weekend beautiful Kara 😊😊

Hey Becky! First of all, congrats on your Dioramour two piece! It’s such a soft, romantic capsule and those pieces are wonderful. I have not bought from it as I much preferred the pre-fall NYC/Paris collection ❤️ I love the cannage leather skirt you mean, but I felt the length would not suit my frame. The soft flowing maxi skirts are totally elegant and almost like a souvenir from each collection. I hope you enjoy your new pieces 🤗 Thank you my friend, you too! Xxx

Thanks for showing us around the new Dior collection, Kara!! I am an avid classic Dior collector--but I must admit this Miss Dior collection is not to my liking--I'm not a fan of the big Miss Dior lettering all over the clothes and bags!! But Dior has kept their quality !!!

Interesting seeing the Harold’s displays and RTW + offerings. Only reinforces my thoughts that you have good taste because everything you picked out in your first video were the best pieces. Some day, will you consider doing another Balmain video or doing like Harrod’s 3 lines like Balmain, Celine and maybe Burberry. Just an idea Definitely love exactly what you post always ❤

I’m a fan of the black and white than those bright colours, though many prefer the colour pop than monochrome. That’s the beauty of fashion, it’s not always catered for all but as it’s cyclic, there’ll be something coming you’d probably prefer more 🩷

I really like this collection - it's fun and youthful. The 1960s were indeed a dynamic and revolutionary period for women in fashion. However, if Dior is committed to empowering women, it's important that they ensure fair wages for their factory workers. I apologise for bringing this up in your comments section, but it's an issue that Dior needs to address.

Fun fact - the Miss Dior bag was inspired by the iconic 1930s bag of the same shape whereas the Fendi baguette launched in 1997 😊
