It's such a smart design. I can't believe this is the same house that came out with the saddle bag and book tote, because those to me are some of the least user-friendly bags I've seen recently. Pretty to look at, sure, but to fit all your stuff in and carry around all day it's just not practical!

Love love love the caro bag!!! I have this bag in medium black with the gun metal hardware. The chain can be detached by the 2 centered CD links. All the other CD links on the chain will have a round link next to it but the detachable part has 2 CD links right next to each other. If you look closely you will see these 2 centered CDs will have a triangle edge. Align the triangles of the CD links so that they form the letter X. Then just pull them apart from each other. Voila!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!!😍

I just bought a medium black Caro with gunmetal too but I keep wondering if I should have gone with gold hardware. How long have you had yours? Does the hardware still look great?

@@apy2499 I had mine for almost 1 year. I've used it off and on about 12 times. As with use with any polished hardware is inevitable to develop hairline scratches. Mine does have hairline scratches but not noticeable unless you examine very closely. Overall still looks great!

Hi! thanks so much for watching. I would exercise caution with this being softer leather. I think it's great and practical but I would advise to not over-use. TBH for everyday bags I'm more partial to canvas

The chain can be completely removed. If you look at the chain itself, look for the two links that are smack in the middle of the long chain. The two links can easily unhook from each other and you can thread each half of the chain out from each loop at the top of the bag. I would like to request for a review of the medium Dior nomad travel pouch, if that's possible. Thank you.

Great question! While it is a smooth leather bag that will require some care I don’t think it is as delicate as some other letters that are similar in style. It has a little bit of glazing to it for lack of a better word, and that will do a lot to protect from scratches

I've been obsessed with the Caro in a medium size for ages and watching videos like this isn't helping. 💔 I want it so badly but I never bought a bag that was more than 2k. That's like that one red line I won't cross.😭

omg I'm with you! It is so incredibly frustrating to me that there really isn't a lot out there in the 2k range - and even on the preloved market, bags go from $700 and skip to $5k+ in a blink!!!!
