The collection is ok, but it was one of the most frustrating shows I ever watched. Stop cutting to the building, or the musicians or the dancers! A bunch of looks were missed just to show everything else but the f*cking clothes!

Why does Dior by MGC sell so well ? According to sources on the net. I find her designs very mature, for middle aged women, very classic ( boring ) shapes, very dark heavy colors ( this is resort madam ! ) I suppose its the middle aged ( 50 and above ) Middle Eastern, conservative market that buys her clothes. Just a guess. And those women have money. Even with collections with brighter colors, higher hemlines, it all looks very sexually conservative. Nothing wrong with that, but it can look so tired and dull.

There’s a simple reason for that most of the pieces you see on the runway aren’t really the pieces you’ll see in store so what they do is that they deliberately make you think that this is what’s going to sell but then they sell really beautiful pieces when they go on sale. MGC It’s not a fashion designer she’s a business woman it’s because of her she was involved in the design of a FENDI baguette it has been a cocreative director in Valentino. I admit her designs are boring but she knows how to make things sell

MGC is amazing accessories designer and she is also super good with textiles, and that is what makes the big buck! Her tote back is genius! Regarding her clothing she is selling luxury basics, because that is what people do actually wear. Most rich women as all women are basic, with basic needs and simple life. They need comfort, they need ease, they need good fit and they meed to look normal, but luxurious. And this is what MGC is offering - real life clothing done in the most luxurious way. Dior is now doing what Chanel has been all about 👍🏻

I guess most of us came to see the dresses, the design, the inspiration. Why would Dior accept such a mediocre performance, and such terrible production values? Some of the dresses seem to be pretty good, but the exposure was so short and everything was so distracting. This must be one of the worst capturing of a fashion show.
