Dior Fall 2024 - Unboxing THE Iconic Dior Bag & Chat | Luxury Shopping Haul Vlog | New York Paris

Hello everyone! Today’s vlog is an iconic Dior unboxing! I will share with you my epic most loved Dior handbag of Dior Fall 2024! I am so excited to reveal this to you, as the Dior Fall 2024 collection that took place on 15th April 2024 in New York is one of my absolute favourite Dior collections. This is going to be a chatty Dior luxury shopping haul Vlog as the Dior bag in question is super iconic and rare and one of a kind for 2024. I love the history of fashion and this Dior bag really epitomises both 1940s fashion and 2000s fashion. Maria Grazia Chiuri respectfully plays homage to Dior predecessors and Christian Dior himself and Dior Fall 2024 and this stunning Dior bag are true works of art full of history as well as nuances of New York and Paris fashion and streetstyle of today.

Dior Fall 2024 is Maria Grazia Chiuri's latest pre fall 2024 collection and is hugely inspired by old Hollywood, Marlene Dietrich is her muse and plays references to the history of Christian Dior's first visit to New York when Carmel Snow dubbed his debut collection the New Look. There is a lot of inspiration therefore behind the Americana theme mixed back with traditional Parisian Dior. See my take on the collection in the first link below.

Love love love - the saddle bag is my all time favourite and it's on my radar as a future purchase but i must say, this newspaper print is very unique and strikingly visually. I tried the class black in Dior and was impressed with how much I could fit in the bag, including my kindle! It's a classic. Congratulations on your purchase and great video in explaining the history of the bag to the present day. BTW, at the start of the video when you said get yourself comfy etc...I actually went and made myself a cuppa, curled up on my sofa with my blanket, and then hit play to watch your unboxing!

I always love hearing you talk about the history and significance of these beautiful pieces. I saw this bag in the window of Brown Thomas in Dublin during my recent travels. The boca Raton Dior let me prepay for one of the bags they are getting. That being said, last week I clicked on the Dior site and they had add to cart on the bag. I quickly bought one. I never got the notification I signed up for on their site that it was briefly back in stock. It again sold out quickly on the site but definitely keep rechecking.

Hi Kara, Congratulations. I got one as well. I wanted to ask for your advice, what is the best way to store/display the bag. I tried one of those bag hook stands I use on my other lux bags but I feel like, do to the weight of the saddle bag the strap may get bend or stretched out over time. I don't like keeping my bags away in dust bags as I enjoy looking at them. thx

Hi my lovely, there are stands which have a flat hook on-top where the strap can hook onto; but the hook itself isn’t narrow, but more of larger, flatter surface. Or you can get Perspex boxes where you can sit it at an angle so it is resting on its base and it’s clear so you can see the bag ❤️😘

Although I don't have one , i want to say it's very beautiful and special ❤❤. Also thanks for sharing the beautiful history about this bag. In fact I have learned a lot from your videos and vlogs. Thank you so much ❤❤ You mentioned you work very hard to afford these beautiful items. Me too 😂. And i m really obsessed with the dragonfly this season. i have bought the dragonfly/butterfly print long blouse and skirt. And yesterday i bought the dragonfly tribales earrings as well as the dragonfly ring . Love them so much ❤❤❤❤. Having said the above, actually i m still thinking of the toile de jouy soleil lace skirt in cream. In my opinion you are the best person to ask about Dior😊 So i wonder if u could share with me what u think of the following. No pressure if you are too busy to write. 😊😊 I m in fact a little more petite and if i was to buy the lace skirt, dior tailor said they can cut short from the waist so to keep the beautiful lace pattern on the hem. But my friend said this might change the silhouette. I m now in my late 40s so lace skirt might not suit me when i grow older into my 50s. What is your view on these Kara? Hey Becky! So sorry I didn’t see this message earlier but if you alter with a Dior tailor they definitely will not alter the shape of the item. They will adjust to make it fit you better so for the skirt, they’ll adjust it from the waist so as not to affect the scalloped hemline but wouldn’t alter the silhouette. Can you get to a Dior boutique? If so, tell them what you need and ask them to explain how they’ll alter and say you want to ensure it will not compromise the shape. As for your age and lace.. I totally believe you can wear this into your later years and your style will evolve as well. You may see you prefer to outfit it differently to how you might do so right now. I wouldn’t worry to much right now, if you can get a good level of wear from it now then to me that is enough to warrant adding it to your wardrobe 🤗
