Dior Homme 2020 should've been named as Dior Signature. It's a fantastic fragrance on its own, but a bit shaded by the previous version. I live in Brazil and I used to LOVE the sport 2008, it was perfect for my country. Almost cried when mine turned into bottle. :(

Great review as always, Dallas. 2 of my top 5 scents comes from the Dior house. Dior Fahrenheit Parfum and Dior Homme Intense. Both great compliments getter by itself. One of the perks of being a tennis teaching pro. The ladies will give compliments. But combine those 2 in a decant with 60% Intense and 40% Fahrenheit Parfum. Dare I say it. Panty dropper... So much better when combined. That's how I wear these two ever since. Much more masculine scent now.

DHP is the best, but DHI is special too. I like to wear DHI on cool days and DHP cold evenings. They are both great and different enough where one need not worry about redundancy.

I got the 2020, the intense and the parfum. Thinking about the original and the cologne. I love the cologne but due to the longevity and price range its a no go for now. I have Jimmy Choo Ice instead (and Chanel edition blanche, which price wise has the same issue but I think it more unique scent wise🙂)

Thanks for this. I have the Dior Homme Cologne and Dior Homme Eau. Your descriptions absolutely relay my opinion. Love both, have owned them since they were first released. I also have the Parfum. Searched for it circa 2016 or so, when there was a lot of noise about it here in the US but was reportedly only available in Europe. Purchased a bottle (75 mL) at Heathrow Airport duty free circa 2017. I am still trying to love it. It appears very strong to me. Even with a tiny spray, I smell it all day, Doesn't bother me....only I am concerned that folks around me may be overpowered by the smell. I don't believe I have worn it more than 5 times in total. As for the Dior Homme Cologne and Dior Homme Eau, I personally enjoy them so much that I could wear them every day. They are two of the very few colognes that I personally enjoy wearing, others being Safari (original 90's version), Creed Royal Oud, Terre d'Hermes, Bvlgari Pour Homme and Bvlgari Man. From the Acqua di Gio line, ALL of which get me compliments, the only one I truly love is the discontinued Essenza, which I think was reformulated as the Eau de Parfum.

Would you say that dior homme eau is still worth trying to get today? I found some 100ml bottles online for about $200, so I’m debating it. But I also just smelled DHS21 over the weekend and was shocked how much I ended up liking it as it settled on my arm. I could easily smell it the next day on my arm. Of course Dior prices these days are absolutely ridiculous, but I’m stuck on buying eau or going for the 2021 sport

In my opinion DH 2020 fits better as a year-round fragrance, it's darker in the dry-down compared to DHS 2021. DHS 2021 is fresh citrus from begining to end.

Ah yes. I have Dior Homme Intense and Dior Homme Parfum. I recently acquired a second bottle of Dior Homme Parfum as it is so hard to come by. Yes, it is gorgeous, beautiful and alluring. If I could have 1 scent for life, a signature scent, it would most definitely be Dior Homme Parfum, but I would require 1,000 ml or more of it.

I enjoy your reviews the only drawback is you mention quite a few fragrances that are discontinued so if this was a buying guide why mention ones that are not available anymore and tell us how great they are? there is another influencer who does the same thing or he talks about these extremely high priced fragrances that he is more than likely getting for free and recommended people go buy them. Yeah it may seem like I'm being an a** but if people are watching you for buying guide I don't see how recommending ones that are not available would be good advice.

Dior Homme Intense Dior Homme not Original the OG 2005 formula ...the iris that launched a thousand imitators.. Dior Homme Sport 2012 version was so delicious... Honorable mentions ,Parfum & L'eau was such a stunner, the clean iris, but buttery smooth and sophisticated my Mom's favorite scent on me..

Its very easy the 2020 has the big black square in the cap. The homme original rerelease is pretty much only available in the EU. The 2020 version is pretty much best one though for an everyday, the intense is like the original but better so the original is kinda obsolete and niche just if you really like that scent in a lighter version. the 2020 is easily one of the best mens colognes on the market nothing offensive about it and nice to throw on whenever. intense is a nice warm cologne without any weird or annoying spicy notes. cologne and sport versions are dumpster juice.

Hi, thank you for your videos :) Year ago I bought to my husband Dior homme as it was my fav male perfume ever and got so disappointed when it arrived 'cause I didn't know they changed the fragrance (I knew the 2011. version). His words were: Why do you like it so much it smells like every other after shave :D (2020 version). Then I started watching yt videos and realized I'm not the only one who didn't know and who wasn't disappointed. In one video, I can't remember was it your's or somebody else's sorry, said that from the new line 2020. one is similar to Dior homme 2011. but I can't remember was it Intense or Parfum and can't find it now. Would be really helpful if it was you so you could tell me :) When I got the 2020. I managed to sell it (with a lot of discount) and found and bought tester Dior homme original, but now I can't find it anymore, so would like to know should I try Intense or Parfum? I did with the intense and was happy. Think a heavy spicy night time winter cologne, then remove all the annoying spicy notes that a person could get sick of, lighten the heaviness a bit to make it wearable in afternoon basically and in fall and spring easily. Apparently they reformulated it in 2020 the new cap it's more mellow and easy going, that's the one I got with the black square in the cap. I smelled zero lipstick smell which some complained about with other version. Parfum sounds very interesting with the sandalwood I bet it could be really nice too. But the intense is what they are famous for.

If you want a slightly better longevity & projection, go for the Parfum. It’s good if you dress formally while wearing it to stand out. The intense is most sophisticated and perfect for date nights, but it’s less versatile comparing to Parfum.

I'm female and certainly no expert on fragrances, but I put the parfum on my wrist this morning, from first spray to about 2 hours in, it didn't change much, and then I ended up washing it off. I thought it's nice enough, a bit powdery which I don't love in general. It's a subtle fragrance and perhaps and every day scent for men that are 60+ or a date night scent for men 40+... I'd like to find a sample of the original.

I have been using dior homme since its release and now continue with the Original. I find the Original a lot weaker that the previous release . In Europe I find it atvthe official Dior site in Paris .

I've gotta say. I've tried 2020, dior homme Intense and Dior Homme Parfum. I am not the biggest fan. Intense is the one i like the most. It's like cacao and iris. 2020 is not my thing. Too woodsy, treeish. Got a decant of Parfum and gotta say i don't like it. I hate the oud. It repulses me. And i can detect the rose and it seems out of place or like it doesn't go right. After trying it a couple times i now FULLY understand why that is not in wide selection, and to a lesser extent why they took the iris out. I do think it comes off as way more feminine than other iris scents like say Prada L'homme or Armani Code Parfum. Parfum is not a crowd pleaser at all. If i buy one to keep i'll likely get intense as it's quite wearable. Parfum is funky oud to me. not my thing.
