The genius of Kim Jones is he makes menswear interesting without making it feminine. Some designers think that to make menswear fashion forward it means androgyny. Wrong. 99.99 % of men want to look masculine, including most gay men. It's only a tiny minority of gay men and K Pop stars who want to look like women. If more masculine male models had been used, I think the effect would have been even better - the clothes are fashionable and very masculine in cut, color, texture, shape, even that last silver embroidered coat has a very military look - like what a general or aristocratic warrior would wear.

He was masculine because the women wore something just as colorful but DIFFERENT.They wore skirts never pantaloons. I'm not saying bright colors/prints/jewelry is feminine, I'm saying men and women whatever they wear has to be DIFFERENT. In India, pink turbans are very popular with men, but women don't wear turbans. ( of any color ) In traditional African/Asian cultures, men and women wear DIFFERENT clothes, in shapes, we in the West might not consider masculine or feminine. But its still different for men and women. Another eg Kimono for men and women are not the same color or print. Kim Jones is using color, texture, embroidery, but not what is typically styled for women. Men and women are physically different, hence fashion must not deny that.Sexual difference is the basis of human existence.

Not Your Bro the best models usually work into their early 30s, some brands like Yamamoto hire models that are any age but overall the average model isn’t getting booked over 25 years old. It’s a very young persons game, and even when you still look young if you’ve been seen for several seasons they like to bring in new faces often. And those older models end up doing campaign shoots or magazines and less runway stuff. For women it’s slightly different cause the top models become role models for girls so their careers blossom into more than runway jobs

Not Your Bro yeah it’s a very short career, if you ever get the chance to model the best thing to do is save the money you make and enjoy the privilege of getting to travel, and you have to be mentally tough cause it can be mentally draining to keep up with their standards, this is more common with the girls because their weight fluctuates more often guys don’t usually struggle to maintain their figure.
