According to my opinion this is the best luxury fragrance by a designer brand. It fills the room as soon as you spray it. Performance is a beast in first 2 hrs. Speciallity is that you don’t have to sniff it to smell the fragrance and it doesn’t give a pleasent smell when you sniff it as other designer fragrances but people around you will definitely get a high quality luxury smell from this fragrance.

I have DHP and I get what I need from 2 sprays, for me it's the perfect balance to keep from being overbearing. Great Review

Thank you for your comment. Yes it’s pretty difficult to get hold of even in Europe these days. It’s becoming like golden Nectar so I might hold on tight to the small bit I have left. I enjoy all the Dior homme line especially the homme sport in the hot weather. It’s so juicy and refreshing so looking forward to breaking that one out again in a few months time. 👍

Paul, I own the Intense version, and now that the Parfum is available online, I've been on the fence about whether to order it. I've got Gary's Den and I like it, but until I watched this review of DHP, I was still considering getting it. Thanks for helping me come down off the fence. 👍🏻 P.S. I usually go with 4-5 sprays on my chest under the shirt, 2 on each side of the neck and 3 wide sprays on my top layer. I don't see why people are so conservative on the trigger. What a waste not spray more and actually please not only yourself but everyone around you. It is not that strong as everyone says. Only in terms of longevity it really is decent.

Yes, if the Intense is too heavy for you, this will be way over the top. Valentino Uomo or Prada L'homme are good choices if you prefer a lighter take, but definitely try the La Nuit De L' homme L'intense flanker if you get the chance because that is simply stunning.

Have to agree with most of what you said. I personally think this frag is overrated and Dior fanboys overrate the whole Dior homme line. My favourite is the edt original out of the whole Dior homme line

Depends, if your bottle got some oxygen and matured would be the same. The 75 ml 2018 batch are more jammier. It’s impossible to describe just when you have both 2018 and 2019 75ml has been already reformulated. The 2018 smell a lot syrupy black berry in autumn, a ripped one. The 2019-2022 more woody and roses are ump up. After 1h-2h they smell similar. Even the batches between 2014 and 2018 smell different.

I have old version 75ml and tried many times new 2020 version 100ml Although paid KZbinrs reviews said it is the same formula. To my nose , I smell the new 100 ml is totally different than the old one specially at the opening, slightly different in the middle (similarity 80%) to the old one and in the dry down 90% similarity. In the opening, the gorgeous oud note was disappeared. In the performance, (the new DHP is not beast mode at all) the new one 100ml is 35% less than the old version. the new version has less than 8 hours longevity and maximum 3 hours projection while the old one 24+ longevity and 4+ hours projection. In the scent, the new version is missed the depth, it becomes simple or normal fragrance. It depends on three elements only (wood, iris and leather) and become more wearable while the old version 75 ml has more depth and more notes in addition to the new one notes such as powder, cream, rose, leather and oud. The blend itself in old version 75ml is so rich like high end nishe quality and has more concentration however the new version is definitely watered down then lost lots of its distinguish in the scent itself and performance sides. In easy way, The new DHP version is in somewhere between Dior Home Intense and Old Dior Home Parfum 75 ml To sum up, ithe new version is the diet version of the old DHP. Note: although all reviews said DHP 100 ml has reformulated but Dior still insist on writing the same number of formula. This is SHAME on Dior!

Despite it being an HQ perfume, I kinda regret buying this. It smells way too feminine for my taste and it's comparable to sticking your head inside a make up bag. Only after a few hours the lipsticky make up smell develops into something more tolerable.
