The Poison name came from the story of Adam & Eve and the “Forbidden Fruit”. Hence the shape of the bottle is like an apple. And back in the days the bottles which contained a poisonous substance had ribs around them so that people could easily identify them. The vertical ribs around the poison girl bottle indicate that the substance inside is poisonous or the entire bottle represents a poisonous fruit.
