I've only just received mine and I'm surprised at how versatile this palette is. Not only does it look great on the eyes but is gorgeous as blush and a highlighter. It looks very different on my skin-tone which is pale with a bluish under-tone, therefore I get more of an apricot look with only the two bottom shades showing as muted rose and definitely not red. It's my favourite also, due to its versatility. I bought Blue Velvet as well but loved the formula so much that I've now ordered Nude Dentelle. So much for will power!🤷🏼‍♀️💖

I think the end result turned out very pretty. I do agree that it’s not really the best colors for u. Me and pink r not best friends. I’m thinking we might even b enemies after today. I bought that Geurlain Kiss Kiss Bee Balm, it’s the one that is suppose to mix w/the ph in your skin and give u a color. Every review I watched, it was turning a very pale lavender on all the swatches. I got curious and dropped $40 on a balm that was suppose to not have hardly any color at all. I put it on this morning, bc I was going to the dentist for my 6 months cleaning. I had it on for maybe 10 minutes. I made up my bed and grabbed my purse etc… I look in the mirror and my lips looked lip Malibu Beach Barbie hot pink😳I was literally like WTF? I called my 23 yr old daughter in the room and she was like, “Mama, u hate hot pink, why r u wearing that color?” I reminded her that when it came in the mail that we swatched it on her arm and it turned a pale lavender w/a hint of pink. I was like, “Ok, I’ll just wipe it off.” Nope, my lips were stained!!! The color finally calmed down and my Dental Hygienist tells me that I’m going to need to remove my lipstick. I told her to check this out and I wiped my lips on the paper bib they put on u and her mind was blown. My 3 year old thought it was beautiful! Lol! I put some on her, before bed and then gave the $40 Geurlain Bee Balm to my daughter. It looked normal on her lips and she is fair. I even tested it on my husband and it had ZERO color on him. I read reviews and I NEVER heard anyone say that they had hot pink Barbie doll lips. I’m a faithful Subscriber, so I watched your pink eyeshadow video, but the color pink has traumatized me today! Lol!🤣

Jen, those shades really do suit you, although I agree that the black from the liner and mascara helps, yet they truly are gorgeous. Due to shipping delays Dior is experiencing, we haven't had the pleasure of these Velvet Quints in Australia yet but will be arriving next month. I was drawn straightaway to both Rosa Mutabilus and Red Tartan plus of course Blue Velvet. I'm enjoying the shades that have been released during this new launch from Riviera, Bayadère and the Backstage Eye Palette in Coral Neutrals which are all quite interchangeable. The only reason I'm not going for Coral Paisley or Nude Dentelle is that I already have these shades in many other palettes. They all look such lovely shades and textures as well plus the ease at which they blend is a bonus. I've actually been going in to the lip products as well in this release which is quite rare for me but have had the opportunity to purchase the Addict Lip Cases and a few Refills plus the Addict Natural Glow Set. I even tried the Coloued Lip Balms which lack in any real colour on myself. I'm most definitely feel 'Diored Out' and I haven't even got to order the Velvet Quints yet! Thanks so much for going through all these products and showing us how they perform, Kris.🇦🇺💖🕊

As I said many times, I really like pink on you :D. I like this quint, but I am also thrown off by the red. I am not a fa of red eyeshadow either, and I think it takes too much out of the look.

Just my opinion, but the only way I personally can wear a dash of red on the eye is if it is grounded with brown instead of the pink. Otherwise it gives me that pink eye look in the conjunctivitis kind of way 😂 I think Rouge Trafalgar palette is more similar to this one than the pink coralle. I will be passing on this one but I am still considering the blue velvet one.

Very pretty look for you…still prefer the Blue Velvet. Just as an aside, have you tried the Cle de Peau eyeshadow palette in 312, Blue Lagoon? Pretty color story, though more teal than true blue.
