In my opinion the best Dior Sauvage is the EDT tried all the others but much prefer the EDT formula.. I also adore Eau Sauvage that's a staple in my collection. 😊

Spicy, natural with a hint of sweetness and musk. Very unique and goes towards the niche side. Might not be a compliment getter but you will smell very different. I personally like the smell as I love unique scents that has abit of sweetness to it.

I remember Sauvage being trashed by almost everyone after its release and later the same with Sauvage Elixir. My guess, it'll be a trendsetter and retroactively seen as a masterpiece. But since it's just a guess, I certainly won't buy it, till it is. 😉

First of all I love your reviews ! Thanks for you and your husband. I bought Sauvage eau forte nearly a blind buy and I do regret! Sauvage eau forte doesn't work at all for me, it's nearly disgusting. I don't know if it's my skin ( my father is from Southern Europe and I got a oily skin always a bit taned ) but on my skin it smells like un old man who haven't taken a shower for a while... just to be clear in summer I take a shower twice a day... But really it smells disgusting on my skin. Since FK is a master perfumer and Dior LVMH did certainly tests and surveys before launching it - I suppose Sauvage eau forte and my Skin doesn't match at all. Kinda a strange normally I like musky fragrances....

EAU FORTE is smelling completely diffrent to the EDT, EDP or Parfum. It's a bit like Elixer. It doesn't fit in the Sauvage line, it should stand for his self under another name.

I think this scent is more interesting than edt or edp, and currently has better parameters than edt cz edp which have probably been reformulated in my opinion. I like that they smell different and not everyone will want them, because at least every other guy won't smell like it 😉😅

It’s Dior Sauvage EDP meets La Nuit de L’Homme Bleu Electrique, make it milky. I’m dead serious. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out what it reminds me of and that’s it. It’s a FK version of Sauvage, make it LNDL BE but creamy, and there you have it. I like it by the way. Also everyone I have had smell it (family and friends totaling 9 people) at the store like it. So there’s that. Probably won’t pick it up because I’m low on Elixir and Parfum and would rather restock on those than purchase this one right now.

Where do you live that people actually like this scent ? I have well over 200 fragrences in my collection. Not to mention the many creations I have parfumed. This is by far one of, if not the worst desighner fragrence on the market. And that is coming from more than 9 people, including the sales associates at my local Ulta and Macy's. The sales paint the picture. A month into the release our local Macy's had sold 2 bottles and Ulta none. And from what I am hearing this is the same story just about everywhere.

@@fastcarsfreedom7282 America, and the family and friends are from all over the country so that would take too long to list. The sales associates said what, that it’s the worst fragrance ever? Okay, strange appeal to authority. I went to a couple Dillards locations and asked the sales associates some questions and they say that it’s not selling well. Yeah no kidding, it’s being trashed on by almost the entire community. But not because it smells bad. The scent is a sweet and creamy, musky/woody lavender fragrance. It just objectively doesn’t smell bad, and if you were to smell it on someone blind 5 years from now you wouldn’t think twice. The average human being without any knowledge will smell it on you and think it smells nice. Oh, and the two fragrances from Dior that are selling the best now are the Parfum and the Elixir, both of which were also trashed on originally by many, but not as aggressively as this one. The niche heads hate it for being a Sauvage release, the designer folks hate it because it’s not like the rest of the line, and normal folks in combination with both other parties hate it for being alcohol free. And including the clone lovers, each of those demographics is attacking it for costing too much. It’s actually starting to tick me off how unreasonably biased and bad faith everyone is being, but I digress. Everyone is entitled to their own tastes but it is objectively mass appealing.

Disappointing launch under the Sauvage Collection. It goes on a totally different direction… it is like a molecular scent that might smells like latex at first. When it dries down it smells better but I still don't understand how the house of Dior agreed to launch this fragrance under the Sauvage line.

Tried this lately at a perfume shop and this smells quite disgusting for me to be honest as a perfume. By far the worst smelling from the Sauvage line and i can´t imagine wearing this and going with it outside and would absolutely not buy it even if it would kost $10..

This fragrance is very sharp and strange. It is the worst Dior release in a long time…..maybe ever. It is also already at discounters. I hope Dior is aware and sensitive to how this is being received before they launch another Sauvage release.
