Dior Sauvage EDT Vs EDP (Detailed Comparison)

here are my thoughts on both these....and i also talked about why companies do flankers, and also is it worth buying the edp....all my personal opinion and not influenced by any other review or individuals.enjoy

Cheraye C Lewis You can buy my bottle. Got a 3.4 ounce bottle from Dior online. I was hoping it would be what Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is but with better performance. Carbon smells almost identical to the EDT of Sauvage, but smoother and minus the sharp notes. This EDP version of Sauvage ripped the heart of the fragrance out rather than smoothing things out with additional notes. I'll stick with Carbon and you'll love it too.

Another honest and good review from Joy bhai. Sauvage EDP not yet launched in the US it should be available in stores next week. I got a sample from the good lady at Dillards. Both of them smell very close. I did not feel like agonizing over Sauvage EDT vs EDP, like I did for Bleu De Chanel EDT vs EDP. I literally spent hours testing samples of one vs the other and it was a hard battle because they are so different yet so good.

Lol its not because its new edp cost more. Edp has higher concentration of aromatic oils which is 15-20% so it cost more compared to edt which is only 5-15%.

Yeah, it seems that most fragrance reviewers like the EDP more ... But when you "take it to the streets", most women prefer the EDT on a man.

Yea Dior is HARDLY ever discounted. The most i see is like 5% off lol. It’s that way for a reason.

Joey really enjoy your videos dude you're on your game and I like your nice relaxing voice hey fragrantica says that maybe Dior sauvage is been reformulated I just got a 2018 February batch and it's got the same formula code as a 2016 September batch so if it was reformulated that would mean that they did it pretty quick along time ago because it's got the same formula code if you heard anything in your opinion what's going on do you think it has been reformulated or no ,thanks I appreciate it if you could get back with me maybe my nose is just playing tricks on me but it seems like the bergamont up top is not there as much thanks.

People always talk bad about this one mentioning the “generic ambrox” base but that’s actually not even true the scent in the base of Sauvage is much more than just ambrox , I have 3 different kinds of ambrox and they’re all beautiful compound s even just to wear on their own, but the base of Sauvage is definitely a mixture of quite a few different similar type compounds that give the woody ambergris effect, and I’m guessing a portion of what is used here are captives meaning no one else can use the molecules until the patent runs out

My collection include Sauvage EDT(+), Dylan Blue(++), Eros(++), Pure Havane(++), F Black(++), Mont Blanc Indeviduel(++), Ultra Male(+), Club de nuit Intense Man(+), Bentley for Men Intense(-), YSL Black Opium(++++).The best scent in designer category I have is YSL Black Opium. Even though a women's fragrance but I wear it with ultra confidence. I don't really like Aqua Di Gio Perfumo, Channel Allure EAU Extreme, Versace Pour Homme. Black by Kilian is also good. Can u suggest some fragrance like Black Opium

Tried EDP on one hand, EDT on other hand - can't stand the EDP at all, i find it repulsive. I like the EDT much better, but I prefer Ventana over both of em by far.

EDP smells creamier if you’re waiting at least 4 hours after the spray. But it’s still peppery hot even after the dry down
