Everyone over here saying not to worry about it taking long, but I'm here shocked at how quickly you made it. You made multiple guardians, have insane attention to detail and the scale is huge. I don't think you took long at all, I think your talent allowed you to complete it so quickly. It's an absolute masterpiece.

When you showed all four of the shrines together, I was pretty shocked and amazed. You worry about what others think that if you've just been sleeping, you're yourself, you've got your own personal life and we all understand that it takes time to make the things you love. We all love your work and if it takes a long time to upload, then that's okay. Awesome work!

I think I've said this before, but you don't need to apologize for getting videos out 'late'. Especially since it would probably take you half the time if you didn't have to film it all. You're going out of your way to make this video, and we appreciate it, no matter how long it takes to make. It just shows how good you want your stuff to turn out, since you're taking so much time to pay attention to the minute details. And it amazes us each time.

Even the mistakes are worth the wait. I'm glad you decided to share them with us as well. There is beauty in them, even if it isn't exactly what you picture. A dying guardian, the water heating and things being lost. It's almost a statement of the world around us. I think these would be worth finishing in a different way even. Experimenting and seeing what else you can do. Thank you for sharing this with us. You haven't let anyone down at all.

That's an excellent way to interpret it, what with disastrous global warming: The world's oceans are warming up (to give a recent example, California just had a hurricane, and this part of the Pacific has always been too cold to sustain one, until recently), so the guardians are dying, which means they can't protect anything or anyone as well as in the past.

As an artist myself, when I read that you felt like you liked your fellow who’s down I felt that to my core. But as artist, we always go back to our older work when we have advanced in skill and then revisit all the work to re-create it. Where is the beauty of art? It is never finished. You did awesome before and you doing awesome now one artist to another

I may not know how to make such beautiful dioramas, but I do know that they take time. A lot of it. So I do not worry about you not uploading for a long time. You upload when your creation is finished and that is that. I also know that failure is just around the corner. It's so incredibly difficult. I can't even begin to imagine just how much effort goes into every single piece, trying to not make even the slightest mistake. And how devastating it is when it fails. Still. I will always be here to watch your videos. Always.

All of your work is well worth the wait, and no matter what you think of your older pieces- they are gorgeous too. Works like this take time and a careful hand, and you show that in all you do. Your original is beautiful and charming, and these pieces show how your skills have been built since then. Think not of your past work as 'not well done', but as a marker in your skills that you have climbed past. We ALL start somewhere and our skillsets will vary over time and practice. You are a phenomenal crafter, and I want to say thank you for all that you do. We always look forward to your videos, and the wait is what makes it all the better.

Dude, that shrine guardian was the first video of you that I found, no shame in getting better, don' lament the past in that regard. I've still got the first HG I build and "painted" with markers that my sister brought from across the world, standing behind it is a MG variant of the same kit fully airbrushed, panel lined (even a couple of custom ones) and decalled. Every time I look at them I smile because of the journey. I'm still planning on making a diorama and using some of the techniques that you show.

@albinogingerblackman77395 ай бұрын
The forgotten shrines and guardians was the first diorama I saw of yours. I fell in love with your work way back then. Its still as beautiful today.
Artists are our own worst critics. These are skillfully made and beautifully detailed. A good way to make sure your supports aren't visible is to pour the resin to whatever the minimum height you need that will support the weight for the guardian when cured. Then, you can remove all the supports and finish the pour. It requires a bit of precision with any color you add, but that's not too hard to measure. Man, I wish I could try to do even a small diorama like these but supplies are so damn expensive!
@sasavj14 Жыл бұрын
You couldn't ever have let us down by working on something beautiful. Even if you take the time for yourself, that would have still been okay! I'm glad we're able to see your work still, because it's beautiful, and always has been. And I'm also glad that we get to see when things don't work out. Nobody is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes so you are not a lesser artist or crafter for doing so.

Look, you tremendously talented person. You are NOT screwed! I think this "failure" of yours is beautiful! I like the way the bubbles came out, near the rocks supporting the shrine, and the ripply effect they have on the "underwater" portion of the resin. It makes the water look more realistic, if you ask me. I wish I wasn't poor; I'd buy this in a heartbeat, and proudly put it on display!

Do not feel ashamed of your failures and mistakes. After all those are the ones that actually teach us and make us grow as people, as craftsmen, as individuals. If you get it perfect the first time, that's great! But if you mess it up spectacularly it is only a chance to grow. A famous poker player said once: "I cannot remember most of the victories I had in my career, but I can remember with perfect clarity all of the astounding defeats I've ever had." Yours, as any other form of art, is an endeavor of skill as well as spirit. And in the end, you always deliver. Never forget that, and keep on doing this beautiful masterpieces. Bro I swear it's not messed up at all. For me it is even more logical there's bubbles in the water it brings movement and action to your piece and it makes it alive I swear. Even the guardian turning a bit yellow, it's really good because we can imagine that depending on the light in a very clear water like it is of course a big fish like this might appear yellowish gloomy. I swear it's even better man.
