Incredibly beautiful. I wasn't impressed at the beginning, nor part way, nor when you slapped on the white paint! Oh lordy lordy!! Then, you added color to the flowers... wow... striking. Then you started adding colors, other than green to the 'green' parts. WHAT?????!!! Can't believe it. I thought, "What on earth is she doing?? They don't have those colors there!" Had to stop the video & go out in my yard & LOOK, & EXAMINE my Birds of Paradise flowers. Lucky me to live in San Diego county, California, where these flowers bloom ALL YEAR LONG. Could not believe my eyes when the reality hit me, that you were absolutely right, & that I had never REALLY 'seen' these flowers. THANK YOU. Astounding. I'm 76. The 4 Bird of Paradise plants that I have in my garden were originally from my Grandma's garden. She died when I was 12. Years later I was able to go to her garden & dig these plants up & plant them in my Mother's garden. When my Mom died 8yrs ago, the plants got planted in my garden. I'm dumbfounded that I never 'really saw' them. How could I 'look' at these plants & flowers for over 70yrs, and not 'really' see them??!!!!

OK, this is my favorite flower painting you have done so far. This flower always makes me smile whenever I see it. This looks almost like a stained glass piece. My second favorite flower is the beautiful Morning Glory. I love how the Morning Glories hang down and spread their flowers all around. Such a beautiful sight. The Birds of Paradise are amazing in real life. 😍

I also love flowers, esp. peony white with a red center pieces and pink peony with a red inside petals. There is also a red peony tht has almost black inside petals with deeper red. Their fragrance is sublime and delicious.

The stunning colors on this gorgeous flower really pop off the canvas!! 🥰 It is a full rainbow of colors!! 🌈 My thought on what to paint on the skin is to stick to the rainbow of colors, especially the yellows and oranges. 🧡💛 Parrot tulips come in those combinations. Or go in a different direction with a tropical bird. A painted bunting or toucan or a flock of tropical birds. 🦜 The blues, purples, and greens are very reminiscent of a rain forest. 🌴 Of course, there are lots of amazing colored frogs in the Amazon, too!!🐸

In the live I said I was going to run out to Hobby Lobby ASAP. Then I said it wasSunday and they were closed 🤦🏼‍♀️ It was Saturday 🤣 I looked at their mirrors but the larger ones all had beveled edges. 🙁 I do have wooden rounds but I really wanted to try a mirror for the first time. I will be making the background today! So excited!

Tropical flower, but it can also be seen in Florida. It's a popular flower there. My cousin has several growing around her home in Florida. They are gorgeous in real life, and AB did a great job bringing them to life in this painting.

My latest update 🤣 I’ve outlined with the silver tube stuff and painted it white. I have to say that yours is already MUCH prettier than mine. My background is too busy and the silver tube thing has been driving me crazy. In “my” experience working with the wall putty in a bag is easier because you can smooth it out with a paintbrush. I’ve got globs everywhere 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m still going to finish though 👍🏼👍🏼💕💕
