Sir I have a problem In DIPHTHONGS lesson I got some words RENEWAL, DENIAL, FEEL here letter 'L' strock is written down strock. But I know 'L' is up strock. How is possible? Can you explain? Thank you.

+amit gupta Yes. You are right. In steno there is two consonants that uses upwards and downwards position. One is "R" and another "H". But sometimes L written downward because of its indication of vowels. Whenever a final vowels occur after L, then L is written upward. Means, if you write "Fall" then L is written downward stroke. If you write "Fully" then L is written upward. 》And, here a question comes to every mind- why i am going to write two different strokes of L ? 》To Answer this question- When you take a dictation at 80wpm or above, it is impossible to put every vowel signs to strokes. For the lack of time. And thats why you have to use upward and downward strokes. I hope i can explain your query. stay tuned. subscribe for more videos. thank you.

+Papri Mishra may be i am not a perfect teacher. Though i am not claims myself for that position. i am just trying to elaborate steno chapters easily as i can. as a suggestion i want to tell you, at first concentrate on your spelling than other things. ok. and another aspect that i want to highlight over here, triphones used when 2 vowels sound comes. As Trial, here i and a comes one after another. then you have to use triphones for convenience and understanding. i think i clear this topic enough to make anyone understood.
