This song is FIVE X Platinum. I'm not very knowledgeable with regards to the pop scene, but I think that Diplo is a famous D.J. and that Thomas Westley was the name he used to create an album featuring other artists. He may or may not have done other music or projects using that name; I'm not sure, but I think the story goes that Diplo set out to find a country act for one of the tracks for an album he was creating through Wallen's label Big Loud, and the label sent him a relative newcomer, Wallen who was at that time, not well known. The track was released as a pop song with another variant at some point with a female pop star collab; Michaels I think. This version peaked at 22 on pop radio and 39 Hot 100 and also made the Global 200. It was not spun enough on country radio to chart, but peaked at 10 on the Country Hot Songs Chart. This had been Mo's highest-peaking track on pop radio until recently. Wasted On You has hit 19 (just this week) as a country crossover hit according to Billboard, and 18 according to Mediabase and 14 on Billboard Adult Pop 40. BTW, Billboard gave up their own data collection for airplay just this week and has now begun using Mediabase chart data for their own charts going forward. Wasted On You peaked #9 on the Hot 100. One of four top 10s he's had so far for his career. Rooting now for Thought You Should Know, which debuted and peaked at 12 Hot 100 / #1 Hot Country on the same week as a debuted Drake album, which kept that debut out of the top 10, as it garnered 17.3Mish streams as a debuted track. About the same as Don't Think Jesus the month before; the latter debuted 7 & 1, Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs, respectively; and his best ever Global 200 mark at 14.

That's not exactly stated correctly. The only Wallen single that HARDY has co-written w/o Mo' himself also as one of the co-writers that I can think of off hand is "Sand In My Boots". They have co-written a few together tho, and they have been huge hits, e.g. More Than My Hometown, Up Down

@@AllAmericaTrucks That is still not correct; even less correct when you state 15. When you state "wrote", you are implying that HARDY was the sole writer on most Wallen songs and gave them to him, and that is just not right. HARDY and Ashley Gorely and Josh Thompson wrote Sand In My Boots and sent it to Wallen as a birthday present; that is the only song in Wallen's catalog that even comes close to what you are describing. They have written a few songs together, as I listed above that were big hits, but actually Wallen and Ern have written more songs together that Wallen has released; and actually Ern; not HARDY, and even Gorely Ben Burgess have written more with other writers on Wallen songs than has HARDY. If you can detail out your proclamation to the contrary, then it will be an honest debate. Otherwise, your just making sh** up.

@@gregoryfaulkner5345 Research what lines HARDY contributed vs the others in the Morgan writes. 80-90% usually contributed by HARDY and that’s the case with most of his writes he even states in when asked about it. Therefore co writers are pretty much non existent with him.
