1. DCGC takes blended mode, so you can't do it from distance. 2. It's better to complete MA first, then go for PG Diploma DCGC

To apply for the School Counselor post in Government sector, you would still need Diploma certificate in Guidance and Counselling from a recognised institution. However, requirements in private school, generally, rely on managerial decisions, with the M.A Psychology degree being the minimum one.

You can still apply if you have done graduation from Social work/ developmental studies/ education/ sociology or any other relevant discipline.

Please check the eligibility criteria once again. You must have either MA Psychology/Sociology/ Social work or some work experience teaching/ working with children.
