Hi Em elsewhere! First of all, just call me Jane😉. Depending on in which part of Switzerland you want to work and settle you would need at least a B2 level language proficiency. (German, French or Italian) As everywhere in the world, the more languages you speak, the better. There‘s no licensure exam needed, just a recognition. I hope this answers your question and if you have more queries, please don‘t hesitate to ask! - Happy Easter 🐰

Hi Ann! Unfortunately walang English version ang site and kailangan meron kang swiss residence permit inorder for you to apply. Pero if makahanap ka ng employer who will hire you and get you a working permit/residence permit, then maybe you can apply for recognition which is also challenging dahil maghahanap muna sila within EU before looking otside EU countries. But keep on trying. Good luck for your future endeavors and thank you very much for your support🤗

@@JanesBuhaySwiss thank you so much for your response maam, it means alot to me. It is one of my dreams to work there as well. how about obtaining a working permit for non-eu ma'am, will it be the hardest part since I have no Swiss connections there, do I need to find an employer first? Or an agency? What pathway would you recommend?

@@abbypt1797 hi again; i cannot give you a perfect answer to your question because Switzerland (as a Non-EU country) is bound to certain strict rules, laws and agreements with the European Union. Most likely like every other country they will give precedence to locals and then extend their search to possible candidates within the European Union prior to extending their search to non- EU candidates. I found this link on the website of the State Secretariat for Migration which might be helpful to you: www.sem.admin.ch/sem/en/home/themen/arbeit/nicht-eu_efta-angehoerige.html Hope this is is helpful.

Hi Alex! There seems to be a personnel shortage in the Swiss healthcare System so there is a good chance to find a job in this sector rather than in other sectors. It is important however, and for that i refer you once more to my video, that you need the proper and required documents as well as the language skills. Among others, you will definitely need a residence or working permit but since you say that you’re planning to move here, I assume you got this issue covered. Good Luck!

Hi Arti! Nice to hear from you. I live in Kanton Zürich. If your documents/certificates are written in English, it is not necessary to translate it to german. English will do and you can send your weiterbildung certificates too. Goodluck and keep in touch🍀

@@artihargan4030 hi arti, you can just call me jane. I would say that education and practical knowledge between phils. And switz. are comparable. After my recognition, I haven’t taken any exam. I learned medical words thru self-study (reading anatomy books, medical books) and I had attended short courses that also helped me.

Hello Umer; your questions is kind of difficult to answer because it still matters what education, degree and others you bring with you. Furthermore it matters in what Swiss canton you would work, if in a public institution or a private practice etc etc. There are a few online salary calculators (e.g. lohnrechner.ch) where you can try and check your approx. income, yet please note that these are only average numbers and usually indicate gross salaries. I hope that helps.

Hi Jane, may I ask after the recognition of the diploma and be a registered PT in Switzerland, do I need an employer to get there? Thank you!

Hi Therese; thanks so much for subscribing to my channel and for your comment. One of the requirements for the diploma recogition , if one is not from EU countries is a residence permit . It goes without saying that if you are in a possession of a residence permit, then you are already here. I hope I got your question correctly, if there is a misunderstanding pls. let me know.
