Sigh--the unexpected tendril of peasants. ;-p Amazing handling of that! You mentioned the Engineer Guild--was wondering if you weren't allowed to build the catapults which would have helped a lot. Or the Altar to get the ray attack which should have used not much mana for a lot more effect.

I don't know why I do not get the ray attack. It's an oversight. Also I sometimes don't get the University when I get the final tier, and that I think makes powers even better. It's effectively worker-efficiency to improve the spells (since you won't need as many workers as soldiers to defend the same attack). Chalk it up to my inability to multi-task well.

This mission kicked my ass. Found it so hard to hold off the continous assault from the south that just got bigger and bigger while dealing with normal waves and clearing camps AND trying to save enough to get to t3 and build ships
