Fr. Dave please make video regarding mixed marriage in the Church- esp for Catholic & Muslim couple. I struggle for This father. We love each other but we both insist to have our future children be part of our religion. As it is a law in Christian and Islam that the offsprings should be part of their religion. Hindi Po ba sa Catholic the Non-Christian partner must convert if Not he/she must declare and to sign an agreement that the offsprings will be Christians? Our biggest disagreement is our offsprings religion. But he encourage me to teach my religion to my children and when they grow, If they happen to decide to be a murtad to become Christian he said he will not interfere. I was compromising. I even said we could raise the children knowing Islam and Christian (without them being officially a part of it) so they can choose which one they want to be when they're old enough to decide. He said he cannot really allow Baptism to our offsprings. So i said okay, i offered another thing. Sabi ko. Then if ayaw mo ma-bautismuhan Ang mga magiging anak natin then you shouldn't have them have "Aqiqah" or any Islamic Ceremony. I end up also confessing to him that i was once a Muslim convert so I'm actually a murtad it's been 5 years he didn't react much about my confession. So his answer was still a No he cannot allow that. Then naisip ko if i will allow my children to be muslims there will be many conditions such us our Offsprings must attend RCIA and they shall be will be with me throughout the month of Lent for fasting/prayer/alms and to be with me in all Christ & Blessed Virgin Mary Commemoration and to pray with me these prayers everyday. (Our Father, Rosary, Divince Mercy, Angelus) i haven't told him about this yet sabi ko na lang let's discuss everything again pag-nakauwi kana ng pilipinas and let's be ready for what's gonna happen if we happen to seperate because of our disagreement let's be ready to accept it, sabi ko. But the Question to myself that always hit me is that. Do i love him enough to allow my offsprings to become Muslims? Ano nalang sasabihin ng Pamilya ko. Probalby it's the same thing for him, same question sa sarili Niya if he would allow our Offsprings to be Baptized to be Christian. In Islam looks like the father is the one to lead the children to Islam the same thing in Christianity for the mother / both parent. It's a tough situation that we're facing. I could only pray and ask petition in Novena & Rosary for His conversion and for the Conversions of all Muslims. He is Turkish father. From a Country which once a Catholic Nation! Deus Vult. Alam ko may dahilan ang Diyos why he made me cross path with a Non-Christian to love a Non-Christian. Sana mabigyan niyo Po ako ng Spiritual Advice i am his first Gf and He intend to marry me in the Catholic Church! Ad Majórem Dei Gloríam. What does the scripture says about this father? In other words, civil union is not a sin, but is highly discouraged because it can be an invitation to the sin of having sexual relationship between 2 people of same sexes (i.e., homosexuality).

4:06 CIVIL WEDDING/UNION ISN'T A MARRIAGE That's what God probably wants to say to all of these people who chooses civil law marriage than the Church Wedding (law of God) Nasa Isang bubong nga kayo Basically everytime you make love with each other you're committing mortal sin (pre-marital sex) since you didn't have the Sacrament of Matrimony. Bitter truth. The problem is, the divine authority from God. Politicians/Judges do not have that authority; what they have is the political and legal authority which is over the law of Man, not the law of God. Pag sa civil ka, sa batas ng tao kasal ka, pero sa mata ng Diyos hindi pa rin kasi hindi naibigay sayo ang blessing ni God through His anointed minister. If you care about your soul, go for a Church wedding in the Catholic Church (not garden/beach wedding). If you don’t care about your soul, then you can have your “wedding” anywhere by anyone. Nag rereklamo magastos daw kasi Catholic Marriage lol daming nag rarant sa Facebook Eh Sila lang Naman dahilan bat gumagastos sila ng Malaki sa Church wedding. Kailangan lang Naman 5 person, priest, bride/groom, two witnesses. No Luxurious wedding, simple lang. Walang Bayad! Sila kasi gusto Nila buong barangay invited tapos pa-bongahan ng wedding gown at reception/venue hahahaha 🤣

So hindi po kasalanan sa turo ng katoliko ang magsama ang dalawa tao na hindi nmn kasal sa mata ng diyos?? Kase etong civil union eh nag i encourage lang sa mga tao na magsama na lang kahit hindi na magpakasal. Maliban dun nag e encourage lang din to sa mga same sex couples na e magsama at gumawa ng kasalanan. Ngayon taong ko ulit, is civil union a sin??
