I was raised with the thought that di tinatanggap ng simbahan ang mga nagpatiwakal kasi kasalanan sa Diyos ang kunin ang sariling buhay when it’s not for us to take. But like you said Po Fr. Dave, mas kailangan nila ng dasal para maagapan or maiiwasan ang suicide.

My tanong lang po ako kasi minsan my npakingan akong isang programa sa radyo ng isang pastor na isang born again. Sinasabi po na my mga kapatid c jesus na anak ni maria kay jose. Gaano po ba ito katotoo? Ang paniniwala ko po kasi ay nag iisa lang siyang anak ni maria. Pwde po ba pzki explain para maliwanagan ang mga nkikinig lalo na po ung kulang sa mga pang unawa. Suicide is a grave sin equivalent to murder (Exodus 20:13; 21:23), but it can be forgiven like any other sin. And Scripture says clearly that those redeemed by God have been forgiven for all their sins--past, present, and future (Colossians 2:13-14). Paul says in Romans 8:38-39 that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
