What an awesome demonstration of the creative possibilities of ND filters. The way you were able to freeze motion with such slow shutter speeds handheld is really impressive!

Fantastic shots, I got some nice shots of dippers in the peaks but didn’t try the slow blurry water what an amazing effect and end image 👏🏻

That was just great Marc. Never thought of using ND Filters in wildlife photography so think I’ll defo consider adding one to my kit bag after seeing those images. 😃👍Ian

Fantastic images, love using long shutter together with dippers and moving water. Since i use the OM-1 aswell i instead got a fast button to use the sf nd in the camera but i indeed agree on the processing taking time. Perhaps i will try the filter instead.

Top man, thank you Roland! My next video is about using the Live ND with Dippers... it's definitely possible, but a lot harder than with an actual filter

Great idea! I would say try and find an area with quick rushing water, as the quicker the water the more pronounced the effect. Thanks for subscribing 😊

Could I ask you, what handheld LOWEST shutter speed could be achived in your opinion to get at least 4-5/10 sharp photos respectively: 1) 300 mm bare 2) 300 mm + x1.4 3) 300 mm + x2.0
@marchumphreyphotography5 ай бұрын
Hello, thanks for the comment. For the 300mm bare I would say I'm quite confident of using 1/8th second consistently. 300mm + 1.4x that probably goes up to around 1/15th. Unfortunately I don't use the 2x converter, so wouldn't want to guess!
