Diptyque Tam Dao EDT Episode # 457

A perfect work scent based on fresh green notes and sandalwood , that is how I would describe it.

This one is incredible. I hate most sandalwood fragrances (Santal 33, Gris Charnel, Halfeti), but this one is so natural, complex, and a bit incensey. Excellent review!

Cheers A.C., I do have a fondness for Sandalwood and most probably would enjoy this one a lot. Only have 2 from Diptyque Oud Palao and 34 Boulevard St Germain edp ,both lovely scents and ido have a vintage Santos,which I’m looking forward to hear your thoughts on . Thank you Bren, I truly hope you like this EDT. I think the EDTs that Diptyque make are quite special, I have reviewed Eau Duelle, Vetyverio and now this and all 3 are quite impressive. I haven't tried 34 SG yet but I have tried Oud Palao and the skank in that one was pretty scary, as I do not like scanky fragrances, I might revisit it at a later stage. Santos! oh my... what can I say :) I will certainly review it this winter ish time.

First things first: India wins the cup!!! What a game! Secondly: My subliminal messages continue to be received. Earlier this week I tried Tam Dao edp and was unimpressed by scent and performance. Wondered what u thought 😂. Then Bal D'Afrique, better profile and performance but wasn't a wow. Think the office scent is crowded with some heavy hitters 1725, Legasy, Heritage, Eau Savage that offer higher PE ratio, e= compliments earned 😂. Ok I'm being vain...but really it's a hard genre to crack, the simplicity yet sophistication of an office scent, quite the juxtaposition.

Haha you never fail to crack me up man :) Half of the Summer list was done when Klassen was going berserk as I just couldn't bear to watch it, but then I conjured up some courage to stop recording and go back and watch the game, it was an awesome and that catch by Surya was just unbelievable. India deserved to win a world cup and now it finally has. Onto world test championship I think thats overdue too. You have listed some really awesome fragrances that are really awesome in a work setting. Try the EDT you may like it.

“EDP is much much more synthetic…” thanks for this data point sir, I just cancelled my order for decants, and go with full bottle EDT

The EDP is much sweeter and some sandalwood aroma chemicals have that sticky sweet smell while actual sandalwood doesn't have that sticky sweetness to it. I would still suggest that you sample both to make up your mind.
