2018年9月26日に発表された前作『The Insulated World』から3年9ヵ月ぶりとなるアルバムとなります。
完全生産限定盤には映像特典ディスクとして、2021年6月5日に東京ガーデンシアターにて開催されました“疎外”のLIVE映像を全編収録。完全／初回生産限定盤の特典CDには「mazohyst of decadence」「ain't afraid to die」の再録版を収録することも決定致しました。数量限定盤はお早めにお取扱い店舗にてご予約ください。

The 11th album by DIR EN GREY 『PHALARIS』 has been announced to be released on June 15th, 2022. It has been about 3 years and 9 months since the previous album 『The Insulated World』, released back on Sep. 26th, 2018.
Limited Deluxe Version is planned to come with a bonus footage disc featuring live clips from the show “疎外 (SOGAI)”, held at Tokyo Garden Theater on Jun. 5th, 2021.

The suspense!! 😄 This looks and sounds awesome - I love the letters. The cover art doesn't seem very surprising but straight to the point - I can't wait to get inside the stomach of the bull with this one [my blood is starting to boil just thinking about it]. Also: Really weird to see Kyo without his tattoos. I am only sad that I probably won't be able to use my passcode because things always arrive so so so so late in Europe :/

Yes it is not good as the other albums but yet it is good enough. And there is a feeling inside me that this album will be good much more than it. Why you think that it is disappointing?

@@joer8954 The Insulated World suffered from poor mixing in my opinion. And I guess some of the songs were just meh. I feel the same way about The Marrow of a Bone.

@@applecats27 I just feel like it was their most bland album by far. I can usually find something I like on almost every DIr En Grey album if I dig deep enough. But that record to me was just irredeemably boring. I’ll probably never listen to it again because it offers absolutely nothing. I do find it interesting you mention Marrow of a Bone. That’s an album people either really enjoy or despise. Personally I love that record. It may not be their greatest but compared to the insulated world it’s fucking golden!

@@joer8954 The Insulated World is definitely their most boring album and I think the one with highest amount of bad songs and weird decisions. Values of Madness and Downfall are two songs I struggle to listen to specifically. If you factor in how creative Arche was, TIW definitely falls short.
