1:26 Gotta love how they produced their own version of their previous, public-domain, fanfare. Also, it's an early variant - animations have a long pause between them, and "CINEMA CITY COMPANY LIMITED" text is lit by a spotlight(along with its Cantonese translation) on the gold ribbon instead of the fade-in on red background.

It's from Dead Curse (猛鬼迫人, 1985). by the way I've just located an earlier Lui Ming ident, rather short but in B&W and very old school. Will feature in 2013 Part 3, stay tuned!

Finally recalled. It comes from Maria (aka Sister Maria, 浪子與修女, 1971) An interesting fact: this GM logo's Chinese byline suggested it was an film equipment company (光明電影器材公司), while in HK Movie Database there's a still showing 光明影業公司出品 (Guangming Film Company presents), which I cannot locate it yet.

Jun, it turns out that the opening theme of "Two Champions of Shaolin" (A Shaw film) comes from a piece called "Suppression" composed by Jack Trombey, featured in the LP "Military Matters" published by De Wolfe Records. The Filmway Pictures ident fanfare (in its full length) is from "Suppression Tag", a 15-second version of "Suppression".

Yay! This is the best upload even. The one ident got my attention was China Films, it sounded like Warrior Films from your Cinema City collection video, but very extended theme.

The fanfare used in the Kud Hwa logo was taken from a Sony Demonstration Reel-to-Reel tape. Remember that one? Just say it with me "S-O-N-Y, a Sony Stereo Demonstration".

The ident of IP Movie (a brand for Shaw/TVB) was appeared in Young Cops (1985). Other Shaw/TVB brands include Cosmopolitan Film Production, Film Power and Celestial Pictures.
