4th gold mine costs 375, makes 1 gold every 2 seconds. That is 30 gold a minute. 30 x 10 is 300. 30 x 2.5 is 75. So the fourth mine pays for itself in 12.5 minutes. Usually based on the youtube video you have at least 20 minutes left in the game before it ends when you buy it. Which basically means that 4th is always worth it in the long run as any income above what you payed puts you ahead of those who did not go with 4.

2v2 means it's easier to punish greed, as a greater percentage of the waves are lacking in units. But if you can make I pay off, it flips to being easier to punish rushers. So it balances out, but I would say more difficult to go early greed.

They had almost no dispel, the necro summon upgrades would have absolutely crushed them. The skeleton mages would have killed the chimeras as well.
