Its a school of thought the only video's i have seen of guys doing that are seals and i think it nakes sense shawn ryan and gbrs group show it and its awesome obviously this technique works or he wouldn't be around to teach it. Love the content and thank you for the knowledge oss

Would you not want to retract the rifle, to minimize the chances of over exposing the muzzle?

Because him and the gun were already around the corner, why would he need to retract his gun if he can fit through just fine, that is so much better he can instantly engage the threat.

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@gootusfootus3229man both of yall have good points here lol but retracting the rifle before entering the threshold will minimize exposing yourself as the threat wouldn’t be able to see and react fast enough to shoot depending on the skill of the threat. Now having the sight drop before hooking the corner also gives you way more time to eliminate/scan the situation vs having to punch the gun out of retraction to finish the job. Like I said depending on the threat and threat skills is when you should determine what movements and basic tactics should be used. :)
