Often times the marketability of a color is more based on production numbers and less on desirability. I personally love teal blue metallic Mercedes paint code 888. It was offered for only 6 production years and very few examples of them were sold. Its very era appropriate and it stands out :) Thank you for your comment.

This paint code 888, Teal blue metallic is as you stated extremely stunning. It makes the car stand out compared to other 560SEL's of this vintage. The optional dealer installed chrome wheels also sets the car off. Salvage title or not, this car is immaculate.

Love it, just moved from Rancho Cordova, Calif to South Carolina. For me it would be a car to represent my unique way of being a person that truly loves to be different and not the crowd. It's nice to be special and thank you for reminding me of a quality I had but hadn't expressed, but will soon do. Go fair Oaks miss the bay area and it's beauty. 5/24/2020

Love the color and 200 k is when the motors on these really start to make some power this is a perfect driver ! I WOULDNT HESITATE it is cleaner then most with under 100k

My folks had the same color 91 560 SEL, but not the chrome wheels. That seems to be a California, or Sunbelt state option, on the east coast they are too flashy
