In case is there any Fault occurred in R phase relay will take other 2 pahse Vyb or Vby. If the Fault in all the three phase in that relay how will operate?

In numerical relay which method is used Self or cross polarization We need to select in relay for this.

Hi while drawing MTL if it is cross polarization means we are drawing anticlockwise from reference angle. If it self polarization means we are drawing clockwise from reference angle. Settings is Forward in both. Is there any specific reason there. Could pls clarify the same.
