Indian Law is pretty complicated to navigate through. We still don't have torts law. When I was kid in classroom, we were all pretty impressed that Indian Law was borrowed from many countries like France, U.K., Germany, Canada, Russia etc. But growing up we understood it is kind of a mess. We don't have much originality in law. And enforcement of law is just so and so. Justice in judiciary depends on which state you were born.
