I think it's a curveball, because RM (leader) + Jin (oldest) have competing (collaborating) seniority (RM representing in the spotlight, Jin always paying attention, recording and helping from behind the curtain - Wizard of Oz - O Z - ON!). 💜 Jin is the main character and hacker of it all!(👀 Grannies...) (big side-step! RM is looking at his/their reflection, how they appear, while Jin is looking at themselves from the inside!) Your inside will reflect on the outside! 💜

Thanks for this review and wrap-up Roscoe! I really enjoyed going on this journey with you and love the intellectual and emotional engagement you poured into the process. You are so right with your last words, we do have a long journey ahead of us. Just imagine what it was like for those ARMY who were on this journey from the release of I Need U and trying to work out what it all means as each video was released. The BU is a magnificent body of work whichever way you look at it. I don't know if there is an official explanation from Big Hit and BTS but I don't really care; the pleasure was in going through the experience and putting whatever interpretation on it. Btw, looking forward to you reading Book 2 of the Notes. I think the most amazing thing about the BU is that BTS and Big Hit did it at all, at a time when they were struggling financially and one would have expected them to skimp on their offerings to conserve their money. And to make it a trans-media project - that is Bang PD's genius right there.

Some random thoughts: The figure is the deity Abraxos representing the origin of power, the grand archetype of all which must be engaged for maturation and growth. Read again the German text from Nietzsche above the mirror at the end that Jin looks into in Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Objects that appear as six such as the petals that JIn burns are the boys. The apple, as in the garden of Eden, signifies the potentially terrible consequences of knowledge of the world that herald the archetypes representing the human condition. (Boy meets Evil).The snickers bar relates to the one that Hobi's mother gave him in an amusement park in front of a carousel before she told him to wait there for her, and then she disappears. His grief, and the psychic trauma of abandonment that this experience brings, mires him in a state of stasis. He is too shattered to confront his loss. Thus the pills (medication) which sedate him, are contained in his pocket with the snickers bar that represent a fragile bond to the memory of his mother, and to the hope that he will be nurtured like a child in her love again.

I love how the themes spill over from their real lived experience. Joonie and V together….that bond is so precious/special….don’t they share a room too? I know they both are the hungry bunch during trainee days that they sneak out for food…and the latest….Joonie and V enlisting together 🥰

The actual answer cannot be found with out the notes, the webtoon and other clues that are lacking in just these videos,. For example, you need to see where it started, which is the school that they attended which created the room that they were made to clean and then became their meeting place, the father of Jin, who expects Jin to be someone he isn't, the cat with the green eyes, Jin's betrayal to the boys at the school because of his Dad which caused Yoongi to be expelled, Jin's Dad sending Jin to the US which started the boys heading in different directions, the date of April 11th, which is repeated over and over and over ie: the different but same scenes with different outcomes, etc etc, etc. Unfortunately without the above mentioned items, you did not get the entire and complete information to come up with the story to this point,. It is not over either, since you see at the end of the last mv the quote for Jin needing to find the "Map of the Soul". The boys have not made it back to the storage room at the school and found the cabinet that is depicted in Jins Awake. My dear Roscoe, there is so much more to discover. Love your videos and look forward to seeing more, You are so funny and more than that, you have a charm that makes it hard not to want to come back to your channel.

Imcredible how no matter how different your interpretation of the situations themselves is from other people's and without the kind of references they gaves externally for more details on where their specific intention is going... you got it, Roscoe. You got the answer. We all suffer, we cant change the past, but we count on each other and ourselves to live as best as we can and, at the end of the day, respecting and loving who we are is what's left for us, no matter where life takes us. That is exactly the answer.

Roscoe! I am here a number of days late. But i wanted to find the time to be completely alone - so that i just have 4 walls around me...and Roscoe just bringing the pieces of this storyline together and glueing(?) them together. It has been incredibly much fun walking with you here - so much so that i looked forward to finding that time to be alone - to go through the BU with you. You have made it thoroughly intriguing, yet it made total sense. Anyway, thank you for putting this on YT - for the rest of us. Appreciate it. To have no new info but to expand on the emotional damage, there's also the bts universe story game, that doesn't exist as a game anymore, but there are play-throughs.

@@ThisRoscoe glad you’re continuing. I loved the webtoons, it really confirmed a lot of xceleste’s theories from the early days, she was amazing with the timelines. One of the most interesting things about bts is the BU. Might an also suggest you google the blood, sweat and tears explanation. It’s lengthy but captured so many things. It focused on the ‘Damian’ story.

5:30 No, Hoseok isn't meant to be diabetic. Forgive me, but I think you can't figure certain things out because you've cut yourself off from information that would help with those connections, esp. the game & everything post-Epiphany. ***I know you wanted to puzzle through it on your own, but I think it's worth remembering (for all of us), that Hitman Bang & BTS never intended the BU to be a solitary fixation. Like most of their projects, they envisioned ARMY working through it all together, as a community.
