We all wished we became army sooner than when we found them… but they seriously come into our lives at the right moment. I knew of them since 2017 when they were in the states but didn’t discover their specialties until Jan 2019 when I most needed them. I bought tickets and flew out to see their last performance of LY tour in Thailand that same month I fell in the rabbit hole 😂

About V's vocals, a LOT of vocal coaches are impressed by his vocal range, they say he is unique in the world. He has a very very unique tone of voice, he is a baritone and has a really deep voice, but because of the other three vocalist being different types of tenor, the bts songs are in a very high range and V being a baritone can reach very very high notes and can sign notes that even tenors find hard to but he gives a special type of sound to those note because of the deep nature of his voice.

Tae has the widest vocal range in bts. his low voice and high voice are both incredibly impressive. Namjoon wrote these lyrics in like 10 minutes without any edits. right after he got out of surgery for a deviated septum

V was a mystery to me for a while, when I became an Army. When he finally emerged from the shadows...oh boy. He has this amazingly smooth and sultry voice, but also, he's probably the most beautiful human being I have ever witnessed. And I don't mean physically (even though, it is difficult to set that aside, when he looks like that). He is beautiful because he is bright, honest, pure, fun, a bit of an airhead. At the same time he can also go very deep, has suffered from burn-out and depression in the last few years, and well, the truth is he just thinks differently. Not in the sense that he is a supergenius like Joonie, but it's like he sees the world from a different point of view than most people, and so his perspective is often fresh and unique. He also seems to feel things very strongly, just think of his reaction during the MAMA 2018 speech, when he literally crumpled the moment disbandment was mentioned. Best friends with Jimin. Beloved and protected by all other members (including JK, who is younger than him). He has a little fluffy doggo called Yeontan and adores children (if you ever happen on a video of BTS with babies, you'll see what I mean). He is just charming. I hope you'll get to know him better in the next few weeks and months!

Aaw poor Tae. I did wonder about that change in MBTI from Extrovert to Introvert. I used to be an Extrovert similar to RM so I know all too well how much shit life can throw at you to make that transition to Introvert (not that I equate introversion= depression) I’ve been reviewing their older videos and you can almost graph that change. He was such a pure lovable rascal and so friendly and guileless like a kindergartner on a playground.

BTS's singles actually follow a story so lemme tell it in order -jhope's just dance is about two people meeting and falling in love -JK's euphoria is bout how much this person they met means to them and how they are his happiness -Jimin's serendipity talks more about their love for the person and how they mean everything to him - RM's love is about him debating if he loves this person anymore -V's singularity is about how they lost themselves trying to love this person -Suga's seesaw is about how he decides to end the relationship -jin's Epiphany is about how we should learn to loveourselves before trying to love others.

My favourite little fact about Singularity is that it can be read as a conversation (as you pointed out!) between Echo and Narcissus from the Roman myth in Ovid's Metamorphosis! This has never been confirmed but with Joon at the pen on this one, it is likely that it was intended. If it is a simple coincidence I would be shocked!

Taehyung has a very unique voice, he's one of the easiest to pick out in songs when people first start becoming a BTS fan. He's unique as a baritone and unique in his range, AND he also has what a lot of vocal coaches call a "mouth" voice (there's also nose voice, head voice, throat, chest, diaphragm, etc). If you learn how to control your voice and breath you can kind of get a similar sound to him (of course in your own unique way). A mouth voice drops your tone lower and lends some interesting pronunciation to certain words and sounds. But this kind of vocal control is very hard to do and showcases a lot of talent, technique, and skill.

Yessss. My bias Tae🔥🔥. Hoping you’ve done the live stage mix of Singularity and/or the live performance of Stigma. Taehyung’s voice is very unique & versatile. His range is unmatched imo. He always makes me feel the music deeper. He likes to share snippets of personal songs on insta/Twitter/Weverse, but deletes them within minutes most of the time. It’s an ongoing struggle army has with Tae 😂 “team no sleep” here. Keep of the honest reactions. I’m enjoying the unedited reactions as well as when you go rogue. I’m 2+ yrs in but still haven’t caught up with all the content BTS provides for free. And do yourself a favor now & get an extra ikea bookshelf. Merch tends to multiply on its own🙄🤦🏻‍♀️

But honestly… as long as I can hear you, and the sound and video sync up… I’m fine with lower quality sound if we are trading that for videos every day ( if that’s what you want and it isn’t tiring you out). Tae was the first person I knew in BTS. Because I was into kdrama before kpop, I saw his acting in Hwarang. He's good too along with the seasoned actors, considering that was his first time acting in a drama. After a while I became interested watching his behind the scenes and now here I am watching you react to bangtan boys. #ot7 💜

V is unique. He is a true baritone with a range of over 3 octaves Eb2 - C6 (some even think his range goes from Eb2 - D6) His voice makes him the one of the vocal line with the widest range from low to high transitions. As a teen he was a crackhead. He was the one who gave the youngest the safe space to come out of his shell. He loves swing and blues, always gives recs on his IG. He has a little pom called Yeontan which he adores, he loves Van Gogh and other classical painters, has a resting bitch face which a lot of ppl think is arrogance but true ARMY know it is just to hide his vulnerability. He grew up poor and his parents were farmers working hard while he lived with his grandparents for the first 14 years of his life. He played the saxophone, learns to play the trumpet, can play the piano and picked up the violin but he dropped it (and his neighbours' ears thank him no doubt). To sleep peacefully, he has to hug a pillow or someone (watch Joonie complaining about being hugged by V in his sleep when they had to share a hotel bed - it is hilarious). He is one part of the most famous ship/unit - Taekook which Taehyung aka V and Jungkook named themselves. He is artistic, suffers from cholinergic urticaria which lets him break out in itchy hives when his skin gets too hot, so he prefers to wear loose fitting clothes in his personal time. He has unique looks, and is known to be one of the most handsome (and beautiful) men in Asia. He is also seen as the idol of idols and a lot of rookie idols see him as their ideal. He is quite selfless, which all members always point out, also an innocent and pure soul, and he has a very goofy sense of humour. He is ambidextrous and learns choreos quite well and is one of the members to remember them the longest, but he is not very 'athletic' and rather sleeps than do sports (must be a Daegu boy thing). Oh and he has a slight Gucci problem ... as in collecting that fashion brand. Can you tell he is my bias?! 🤣 😂

He is a jazz aficionado, so more jazzy or R&B sounding is what he usually makes. Loved is a Gucci earring from a few years ago, but it ties in to the song. His vocal range is phenomenal!! That deep voice that’s so rich sounding makes his songs amazing 🤩, all their solo songs are amazing

Hi! Since you've reacted to Singularity by #V aka #KimTaehyung you must know a few things about the VOICE &PERFORMANCE that drew me , in 2017 to being a #BTS & #Taehyung 's fan ! He has dreamed to become an artist since he was a young child, but his family was a farmer one , not having much possibility . Taehyungie is very pure and unique human being. His deep vocals are like a ocean.. he could soften you or drown you in emotions. Ahhh, one of my favorite V solos. I don't know if anyone has already commented on this or not, but a fun fact about this song. The Producer, I think it was Pdog said that in order to get the "sexy vibe" he had V record the song in the dark. I think it worked cause this is the sexiest song I have ever heard in my life, and I am 58 years old and have heard a lot of songs, LOL. But seriously, it's an awesome song sung by a multi-talented young man who has the most amazing voice I have ever heard. The visuals are just a bonus for me! I think, personally, my favorite part of Tae BESIDES his personality and amazing talent, is his absolute killer control over his facial expressions when he's performing live. He embodies the mood of every song so perfectly, all he has to do is stare at the camera and us armies die. He's too powerful. Young Trainee's in various companies, will often use his live videos to practice their stage presence

As so as you said you were looking for something mellow and you said you where going to watch danger my first reaction was, 'NO..lol NO.. that is so not mellow.' But I died laughing when you only heard the piano playing not even the song its self and back out. Also please open the albums even though they are the same they could be different versions. The Love Myself albums each have 4 versions and each version has a different concepts and photo cards. I for one would love to see the wifey on the couch, there is always room for more people on the couch :) she might even find her own bias ^^ (Please tell her that she is more than welcome here and she does not need to worry) Now V's style is very soulful, for most part of his solo songs, he seems to enjoys the more slow and sensual beats that really goes well with his vocals. i recomend that you don't listen to stigma yet (it is part of the B U) but there is others like Sweet night, winter bear, scenery, inner child and Firends (V and Jimin) that aren't part of the storyline :) Thank you so much again, I really needed the couch today. Nice to hear Annie is also in the medical field. It’s highly understandable that she needs her down time. It’s really rough out there right now inpatient outpatient, it doesn’t matter. Let her know to give this group (BTS and also the couch) a chance. God knows how my time immersing in all their content has helped my pandemic burned out self decompress. Lately they’ve been the only reason that I still have vestiges of my old self. But as Namjoon says, she will find them when she needs them the most. Borahae to you both.

Hi Roscoe, V (Tae) is my Ulti Bias and Singularity is my favorite song. In my car i hear it maybe since a year and learned to sing along to him. I bought, i think, all Love Yourself and Speak Yourself concerts to see him in all different outfits and looks. All of the performances are so great. One of my favorite looks he has in "Seoul The Final". But i love them all.
