❣It’s Jimin’s voice doing the intro, as the announcer. Also Jimin & Loco sing live, aside from using mics, even wearing ear-ins. The “backup band” consists of legendary, genius producer Pdogg, who worked with BTS since beginning as producer & songwriter, also producers GHSTLOOP and EVAN, all 3 also worked alongside with Jimin, who also wrote the lyrics, composed, & helped produce his first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, as well as for MUSE his 2nd album that will be released July 19 KST, July 18 in other time zones. During the documentary for FACE, there was even a fun quiz segment where all 4 named themselves Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, which at the time, no one had any idea other then it was just for fun! 🙏😅🤣😍

❣️Jimin’s “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band”, is basically an ever so uplifting, filled with joy & happiness, love song, mainly for army who he references numerous times, like when mentioning “it started on June 12”, which was the actual debut of BTS where they met army for first time during a performance showcase. BTS official debut performance was next day on June 13. Also in the dance, the choreography, including the one for the dance challenge on tiktok, Jimin is even doing in sign language, the hand signs, for LOVE, while dancing, ❤️ 👍🙏🥰☺️

According to a Billboard article: ✨BTS‘ Jimin revealed the full track list for his upcoming second solo album, MUSE. Jimin’s quite successful first album FACE, still charting worldwide! The seven-song LP due out on July 19 KST (July 18 in other time zones), will feature the intro song “Rebirth,” as well as “Interlude : Showtime,” the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” (featuring Loco), “Slow Dance” (featuring Sofia Carson), as well as “Be Mine,” “Who”, (single can now be purchased as presale aside from 2 versions MUSE album), and “Closer Than This” (which dropped in December.) Jimin, 28, wrote six of the songs, according to a release, composed, also finally listed as one of the producers for most of his songs, (though shown in Jimin’s documentary his involvement in producing all his songs), which also noted that the announcement from BIGHIT Music featured a vintage feel via images of old-school cassette tapes representing each song, with an overarching theme of “love” connecting all the tracks. The hip-hop/R&B-leaning focus song, “Who,” was produced by Grammy-nominated singer/producer Jon Bellion, along with Pete Nappi, Tenroc, Pdgogg and GHSTLOOP, with a vibe described as “intense bounce and guitar sound.” In addition, the pre-release song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” draws inspiration from marching bands, “blending hip-hop elements with the big band sound characterized by a large-scale orchestra, creating an upbeat, lively rhythm and dynamic atmosphere thanks to an assist from South Korean rapper Loco.” Other contributors to the album include Tommy Brown (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber), as well as producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP and EVAN, who also worked on Jimin’s first solo album, 2023’s FACE, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Jimin’s official solo debut came with the 2018 single “Promise.” Five years later, he became the first South Korean soloist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Like Crazy,” followed by FACE‘s “Set Me Free, Pt. 2” reaching No. 30 on the chart. ❣️The song, Smeraldo Garden Marching Band, also is in reference, an homage to the Beatles, as well as Beatles album Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band, which Jimin used as inspiration, even singing lyrics “I want to hold your hand”! An excellent clue already happened in the vid:❣️ “A Day with Jimin in NYC by vogue, (perhaps you might want to react to it), which was basically a behind the scene, filmed during the time Jimin debuted “Like Crazy” on Jimmy Fallon show last yr. same day his album FACE dropped. It showed Jimin, before going to a dance practice, rehearsing Like Crazy for Fallon tonight show, going to a record store, along with producer Pdogg, who worked along side of Jimin throughout both albums FACE & MUSE. where Jimin pulled out that very record by the Beatles Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club album, even holding it up. It seemed sort of unexpected? Now I wonder if it was planted there? It shows once again, just like with everything else Jimin does, including his other MV’s just how hands on, just how much involved Jimin was! Including the concept, imagery, vision, the look he had for the MV! Plus all the ideas he had that he put into play! All the while keeping everything as lighthearted, fun & enjoyable! Jimin even oversaw the filming to make sure the final shoot would meet with his approval! Jimin keeps amazing me more & more, though I shouldn’t be surprised anymore! Na simbologia presente no Universo Bangtan um dos itens mais importantes é, sem dúvida, a flor Smeraldo. A flor Smeraldo, que significa esmeralda em italiano, é uma planta fictícia, parte de uma lenda italiana. A flor passou a ser sinônimo de uma sinceridade que não pôde ser mostrada. A música Truth Untold retrata a lenda da Cittá di Smeraldo do ponto de vista do protagonista. Nesse clip de estética vintage que me lembrou Sgt Pepper dos Beatles misturado com Willy Wonka ( A Fantástica Fábrica de Chocolate) acredito que Jimin busca falar do amor que ele sente pelo BTS e pelo Army. De maneira clara e simples, como não pôde ser dito antes no Smerald Garden. É uma música leve, refrescante e divertida, que aquece nossos corações. Jimin canta ao vivo sem artifícios, se mostrando como é ( em contrapartida ao protagonista da lenda que se escondia por trás de uma máscara) e mostra o Jimin se amando como ele é, uma das mensagens que o BTS sempre procura transmitir e a importância de falar abertamente sobre o amor que sente. A voz maravilhosa de Jimin é o grande destaque do vídeo e a colaboração de Loco seguiu a intenção da letra e sua voz combinou muito bem com a do Jimin. I'm sorry Jimin but that's a HARD pass . Pretty disappointed because I thought this was going to be right up to all people alley but this is literally a kids song.. I can’t listen to it again. It’s like I’m listening to a kids song. The lyrics and the arrangement of the song were atrocious. Jimin deserves better.
