Jungkook's song, he is like that. RM was there writing the lyrics, but they were JK's thoughts. RM said JK never complained or got upset for himself hut would get distressed when the others were upset. He was only 13 when he moved to Seoul to join Bighit company and always says the boys brought him up, and how grateful he was that they treated him so well. He says he is like a mixture of all his "hyung's" artistry and skills.

I have to say after watching a video of when Jhope was going to leave the group and he said Jungkook hugged hom and croed and wouldn't let go that it about broke his heart. I thought he wrote it after that happened and he was afraid he was going to lose his brothers. I could be wrong but thats how i had understood it. Love this.❤ ♥️💜💜💜💜💜💜💜♥️

Just to say, whilst the song does absolutely have those sound cuts in it, to me it sounds like the stage mix has also slightly double layered or misaligned some parts of the audio. Maybe listen to just one performance or the original track to see what you think, might still not be for you, but I love Begin!

You need read more into their story hello they all wrote songs about that but boys helped raise JK he started like 13 in group debuted 2 yrs later they went to his ms and hs graduation anything BTS does no matter what singer are all icons forever broke all records no one can ever do in their place I've been fan since October 2013 they came out June 2013

Hey Roscoe, loved the reaction and honesty! I felt the same about the music but it really grew on me. You said it's new for you, that's 99% right - if you remember the Wings short films (BU), the first one is called Begin, and has snippets of this song in the very background. That's not to say the song wasn't completely sincere in its meaning in the real world, of his love for his brothers, it 100% was his true feelings and thoughts - but I'll let you put 2 and 2 together whenever you decide to go back to it! 💜 (A bit worried about this comment being spoilerless, mods please tell me to delete if not)

Wings is full of solos that are reflective, notably RM's Reflection and Suga's first love (piano). J-Hope had to solo "Boy Meets Evil" and then thanked his mother in "Mama." In "Begin" JK thanked and commiserated with his band mates. Jimin's "Lie" and V's "Stigma" are both tortured songs. Jin's "Awake" IMO is talking about his insecurity in trying to catch up to his bandmates in skills.

He was so, so shy as a boy in BigHit (at age 13 that he was too shy to have a live himself, or stand in front at awards ceremonies. He could barely speak, and made himself small. But he was the golden maknae, first in Korean culture the maknae is somewhat spoiled with love and teased, but more importantly, they loved him. He didn't know his own feelings at that age, or this age. Did you?His main feeling was gratitude and that any of them would hurt. It's the first song he wrote and performed as a solo. Give the kid a break.

I like you and your reactions, but I’m happy I didn’t see this particular reaction when it came out ‘cause that “seriously” comment at the end after he had danced and sang his heart out and then to say he didn’t deliver at the end really upset me. This song is for the other members, but the part about crying is about Tae. I believe Tae was going through a tough time... I think his grandmother, who practically raised him, had passed or a friend Tae's had passed. Tae helped JK the most with coming out of his shell/shyness.
