What's so disturbing about this scene is that, when you really analyze it, it's classic schoolyard bullying and gaslighting.

How can they scream like that night after night?...their vocal cords must be ripped apart by the end of the run. My goodness. It makes for a wonderful performance tho. Love the dedication to it all. This has to be one of the best versions of the crucible I've ever seen!

Professional performers must possess a vocal athleticism that allows them access to an emotional range vocally, physically and emotionally. What you see in this production are well trained actors but mainly the experience that comes with years and years of dedication to the craft. And it's spelled 'cords' not 'chords'.

szaradic I disagree, she screaming from her throat, you can hear them ripping.

I need to find a way to purchase this! Is there a DVD copy or something?! For the students this would be a much better version than the W. Rider one! [great Film too just not appropriate to show]
