Wojciech Kilar didn't receive as much aknowledgement as he deserved. A great composer who understood the dark dramatic tone a suspense and terror atmosphere requires. I love this soundtrack.

I've seen this movie several times and yet it's only been recently that I've given the score its day in court. The more I listen, the more I really like it. I feel, however, that presentation of this video deserves its own call out. The attention to detail on the track notes as well as the simple yet utterly enthralling turntable with the engravings serving as background, not to mention the video quality itself, is top notch. Barebone perfection. My highest regards and appreciation to you Direct Sound Vinyl.
