Tired of a "three month" discount. Just drop the rate to a consistent figure. These three month deals remind me of a drug dealer trying to get you hooked on a drug.That's why I'll NEVER do business with Comcast/Xfinity at any price.Ditto for DirectTV.

It's still more convenient than a Satellite though. If you have reliable Internet. And DirecTV Stream doesn't have a 2 year contract so you can cancel anytime. The only thing I don't like is they forcefully put regional sports on the middle package. If they had it for the regular package it would be perfect, well for me at least.

I was a DirecTV subscriber until the price got too much for what we want. Sure we miss out on our regional sports, but we were hoping that there would be an alternative like Bally’s streaming service. Alas they don’t stream the Atlanta Braves at this time. As much as I love KZbin TV, DirecTV Stream’s choice plan is rhetorical option we would pick for streaming live TV. Thanks for the update! You’ve been a big help to all of us who don’t want the high price of cable TV.

Had it with their poor reception during bad weather storms and quit permanently. Just try getting a refund for this. As an AT&T network engineer, I saw it was common for significant reduction of microwave signal strength during rain, fog, or heavy wet snow.

0:40 do you think they lowered it for those three months for Regional Sports package because there's only one major regional sport (MLB) right now? The NBA and NHL are basically on major networks right now for the playoffs...🤔

Well, only DIRECTV STREAM and Fubo have RSNs. So baseball season is a good time for them to try to pick up some subscribers, especially those who may have KZbin TV or another service on pause for the summer.

All good, click it your getting the deal, they offer a bunch of premium channels for free for three months, but it would be a lot to remember to cancel🤦🏻‍♂️

You get a free trial, then the discounted rate. Take a screenshot if you’re concerned. You’ll have something as proof.

It's basically for you to have time to cancel within those 5 days if you don't like it. After the 5th day they will bill your card automatically. They should have done at least 14 days though...I got the Choice package...$69.99 for the first 3 bills.

Michael... I subscribed and downloaded the app... Signed in, set it up. Programmimg doesn't download.. I have wired gig internet to my nvidia shield... This directv stream service is pretty bad.

That is true. But it’s cheaper than main competitors with the discount. Some people may decide to hop on this for a few months, then go back to their other service.
