Strangest DLC - Diesel Legends - Great Western Express - Class 101 - Train Sim World 4

Could this be considered the strangest and most out of place DLC in Train Sim World (excluding Holiday Express), 1970's BR trains on a 2015 Great Western Mainline. Hope you enjoy!

I use the blue BR stuff on Peak Forest, purely because it’s the train I caught to work and to the Derby match every day of my life for twenty years. The Class 101 is my favourite. For its clunkiness, for loads of reasons. Not used it on GWR yet tho I must admit

Hello British Ace. I know you mainly focus on British Trains but there was a nice bit of freeware which was released on RWCentral some time ago which was a TGV 2N2. The cab isn't the best but it has the functionality similar to the FLIRT released by ATS, and if you translate the manual to English via a translator it's a heck of a lot of fun to drive!!! However one downside is that it doesn't work with the normal TVM, it utilises a TVM developed by other freeware developers so you need to download another version of the French routes. If you can navigate your way around all the downloads which are freeware I highly recommend you giving it a try. :)

I own this route, and absolutely love BR blue stuff. But I don’t often drive it, it is a little dull I guess, but that was a great video. Fantastic seeing all the different AI BR stuff going by. Want a go myself now. Lovely.

I believe the correct way to drive these is to coast in 4th gear and whack it into neutral just before you stop. Agree with the comment that the vacuum brake doesn’t sound right

I surely do drive this DLC. But it was a while ago. But it’s fun and difficult as the schedule is tight when you’re rusty on the 101. This movie is good if you want to nerd in to the first generation DMU:s. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mISYqZyDZbGMqqMsi=-w_irAfLl46-Pm_R
