Watched a DIRESTA video for the first time 3 weeks ago. Man, I'm hooked watching DIRESTA video's. Me myself got a background in welding and construction work. Started wood work 6 months ago. Work of art. Beautiful. Was that epoxy resin you used on the top? Is that more durable than polyurethane finishes?

+SyberPrepper It was definitely West System epoxy. They make a great product but it is expensive. Personally I have not had good luck using it as a finish. It builds like crazy (you can pour it on if the surface is horizontal) and self-levels, but it goes cloudy and turns yellow. If you let it cure, you can wet sand it and then cover it with one layer of varnish, and that seems to help protect it from yellowing. I think the varnish has UV inhibitors.
