Great job Mr. Diresta. As a young man I worked at a custom book bindery. They had several mature lady’s that hand bound, and restored, rare and precious book. I use to watch them with admiration for their fine hand work. I swear, you must have been watching these ladies also. Your work is near identical. Thank you for the video and the trip down memory lane.

Priceless work of art! My great grandfather was a book maker in the early 1850s in Scotland. I now have the utmost respect forwhat he did and wish I had one of his. This is truly an art form. The closest I will ever come is wrapping a journal from the dollar tree store with some leather from my old “hippy days” pants! Thank you so much.

Bravo! Beautiful, Practical & Unique. So lovely to see the linen strips, another gift from our friend the Flax plant, those stunning red swirls of the end covers & all the practical technology making a stunningly attractive repository of knowledge that can last for centuries.
