the way the blood magic dungeon works would be an interesting new concept for a skyblock map. the only way to expand your platform is to conquer new rooms with increasing difficulty and new enemies the further out you go from the center. at the same time its neccessary to access new materials for the first time, to be able to tech up. this could work well with project e, but i can also see it work with a lot of other skyblock mods that would just require certain materials aquired through the rooms to build the resource generators to then automate the same resources.

Reminds me of another pack with a similar idea, Compact Claustrophobia. the idea is your trapped in a very small compact (3X3) machine and are forced to slowly tech up to make more and bigger compact machines. Its a very cool pack that I suggest you check out!

For your future knowledge, you don't need multiple tartaric gems. If the gem you are using in the crafting recipe slot has will stored in it, it can use that will to craft it.

Oh, I didn't know about that, thanks! Does it still drain all the Will when upgrading your gem like it has in older versions or does it retain the Will when upgrading? If it loses the Will I think it's worth investing in a second gem, though it partially depends on the modpack.

Hey Dire, just to let you know that you don't need to craft multiple tartaric gems anymore, you can just put the 1 gem in the crafting slot and as long as it has the required will, it'll upgrade without needing a 2nd gem

If you didn't know, the area where a spawner can spawn mobs in is not limited to the ground like regular mob spawns. If the air blocks that are within range are light level 7 or under, then the mobs can still spawn in that area. That's why withers kept spawning even though none of the ground was light level 7 or less! Also explains why you were hearing and not seeing a lot of blazes, they were 100% spawning out in the void area where there's no light at :D

Put a lever on the bottom of the block the armor stand is on and it should let your shift click swap. I think thats it. Though that may be how a modded armor stand works and I’m mis remembering

Or, if I'm remembering correctly, they used to put a block of redstone under the stand. (which would have the same effect as a lever)

That was bibliocraft's armor stand. Vanilla armor stand is only good for being controlled by a command block.

FYI: in one of the updates, they added in an auto hammer. It pushes to and pulls from chests/drawers at the very least. Also, the igneous extruder requires stuff beside and under, and no longer consumes, to make it's stuff. Basalt is one of the things it can make.

You don't need a second tartaric gem, it will grab the will from your gem in one of the left slots.

Use tau plants as a damage device; using a harvester to harvest grown tau; leave blessed earth to continually spawn entities; vacuum hopper mob drops. Endless tau and mob resources farm.

Dire, you can chunkload your base and hook up an ender pouch -> ender chest -> importer to your refined system. Cursed earth + mob grinding utilities gives you an insane amount of ender pearls (and redstone, glowstone, gold, inferium...), and redstone -> netherrack will give you blaze powder. You can use 240 blaze powder in a multiservo press and soul extractor to get blaze seeds if you want.

Dire. Use a Solid fence to keep Rabbits in. They can go straight through wood fences. Use Stone or something. Or just wall them in & use a door instead of a fence

21:00 dire not remembering to use the sentient sword to fill the Tartaric gem and constantly prepping to attack with the refined obsidian one is the best ... and I did notice later that he started switching between the two, presumably because of the initially better damage on the refined obsidian sword until the tartaric gem gets more full, and then doing the killing blow with the sentient sword, once he remembered that oh yeah I need to use the sword for the will. :D

I am pretty sure that the Dire from a few years ago would have set up a send-to-base setup as soon as he got the ender chest and pouch rewards, I am wondering what happened such that several episodes later the dire of 2021 does not have the inventory space for exploration.

Those blazes are probably spawning under the building into the void, and since they hover, they don't fall into that void. 12:30 exactly what you said, LOL

There are plans for a greater dungeon that would have connected rooms, but it's not implemented yet. The WIP stuff looks really cool though!

Also, vanilla skeletons do have a chance to drop their bows. It's more likely that the skeletons in the BM dungeon are specifically tagged (or rather, their loot tables adjusted) to not drop them.

Hey Dire, love this series. Just a couple comments: 1) The enchanted bows in the Nether are from dispensers, not spawned with the skeletons (hence the 100% drop rate) 2) I automated a blessed earth farm by placing a 3x3 grid, 3 blocks above a platform, a fan to push mobs off, and water source blocks in the corners of the platform to bring all the mobs to the center. I got a Mob Masher as a random reward that I use to kill the passive mobs but that could be anything that does damage.
