D-Will was already past his prime at this juncture, at just 31 years old, after injuries continually mounted throughout the early 2010s. He would only play a total of 105 games as a Maverick in his hometown. While neither Dirk nor D-Will were at the peak of their powers at this stage in their career, it was a vintage showing for the two former Superstars in a tightly contested regular season game. It's disappointing we never got to see the backend of D-Will's prime, but that didn't stop him having moments despite his reduced capacity.
