i heard the people who made forza horizon games had made the first 2 dirt games and also the first grid game, that why later dirt games arent the same as the originals.

@@WHEELIFE29 Yeah in D1 and D3 you just pick an event and race they had characters too. But D2 had bunch of characters friends/rivals who talk to you when you interact with them in the race. You could team up with them. The menu was so cool walking in and out picking your car that is right in front of you, there was music crowd fireworks, there was a map so you see where you travel.. Such a cool concept.

This DiRT was very different from other rally games, in fact there are no classic/modern WRC cars, no Pikes Peak as a stage, some cars are fictional (Solstice rally car?) and it features stages that are largely uncommon in rally tournaments. Nonetheless, it was very unique and had a nice soundtrack too (Treading Water was not my favorite tho).

I have a request, could you do a full playthrough of Dirt Rally 2.0 with no assists, full damage, hardest difficulty and showing setups in the service area before the race? If you don´t have it, but it, and then do the playthrough. I would like to see it because you have great skills.

Sorry but I would never play that game with those settings. That is not my style of playing at all. You should ask someone who likes simulation games and who plays with a steering wheel.

@@vega6691 Huh? Everything is fine, lol. No need to apologize like that. It's simply not something that I would do. And it's true that I am quite skilled in some games but not really for the thing that you are asking. I play racing games with gamepad (not steering wheel), so I am skilled in games that are good for playing with gamepad. Dirt Rally is better for steering wheel players. Also I would always turn off car damage, I would use assists if they are useful and I don't like to make custom setups.

Does this game support Thrustmaster T300RS? And is it easy to configure the game for it and save the settings for next game session? TY PS.: Im asking because for example NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 works with the T300RS but it wont let you save the configuration. Its necessary to configure it again in any upcoming sessions. Very frustrating.

I followed this guide from the Steam forums: "Download Dirt 2 (don't start the game yet or it will install GFWL). First delete the GFWL folder (in the "redist" folder wherever your Dirt 2 install is). Go to pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Bulletstorm Download the "xlive.dll" file from this page and drop it into your Dirt 2 folder. Then start Dirt 2 and it will install and play as though GFWL was never a part of it. You can save your games locally too. :)" This is for the Steam version though. I don't know if it will also work for others.
