If it's just a stripped set of threads and not a fastener stuck in it I would get a helicoil tool set off Amazon and do it that way. Just before not to drill too deep.

hello, what soldering solution did you use, I have the same problem with an xmotos tank and I can't find to buy a new one, I'm interested in what solution you used for me, it's more complicated because next to the nut I have a hole all the way to the inside of the tank and I'm also missing the nuts, thank you?

@costycosty5850 I used Aluma weld which is aluminum sticks that you can buy from the hardware store or big box stores. Takes a bit of heat but then it melts pretty good. It's been holding up fine since

Do you know if any of the manufacturers sell new screw mounts? I just pulled these out of my Clarke desert tank.

I don't think so. Youll have to find a manufacturer that does. Or you could make your own. If you are.good woth a welder, well 2-3 nuts together while on the right sized screw then grind them square and with ribs in them ans install like I did. Or get some raw metal and cut the ribs and drill and tap new threaded holes. Always more than one way to skin a cat, as they say... 😉

at 16:36 the shroud has that extra bold hole on the bottom right, mine has that too why is that?

If you're talking about right under the seat that is to access the bolt for the sub frame
