I can't help cringing seeing that metal to metal contact between the tire spoon and the brand new Excel rim! 😯😯

As an ocd vet, I’d love to try put some heat shrink on the motion pro spoons to stop the accidental scratches

Definitely ok to do haha

Just had my tire stand welded up. Thank you for sending the instructions. Can't wait for my next flat.

Would love to see you do a tire change with Mousse Balls on a front and rear tire ( Enduro guy )

Man how long did it take you before you stopped pinching tubes? I absolutely suck at changing tires

I would love to see a tire change without the tire stand. I don’t have a garage to store that stand in yet. So I’m planning on using a bucket for the change. Would love to see it be done with that. Still got the spoons, bead buddy, valve core remover, some paste, and some baby powder, just not the fancy stand.

A simple stand really helps. Post in ground with pin sticking up would be perfect.

Would love to see someone change a D606. Those are insanely stiff. The shops that do my tire changes use machines.

Weird. I do it almost exactly the same, only using 2 2x4s on the floor. They must have edited out the two pinch flat tubes.

I come from mtb and am getting into moto. Why don’t you run tubeless? Running tubes in mtb is unheard of and a terrible idea imo…so what’s the deal here?
@ryanrusk824710 ай бұрын
You can get Tubeliss brand , tubeless setups where they have an inflatable inner bladder (100 + psi ) that holds the tire onto the bead and then you just put air into the cavity of the tire and the Tubeliss bladder allowing you to run far lower Psi than tubes. It's out there but it's a love it or hate it system and a lot like Mousses there is a lot of technique differences to changing each of them. When it comes to tubes Jay is the Gold standard of tire swaps.

I bought a used kx250f and the tire is almost bald, has basically no flexibility an is bending my rim trying to get it started off

Hm, I'm majoring on the minor here but, is there a difference between the Dunlop tires on the west coast vs the east coast? Specifically, I notice the '23 ktm 300sx in MXA had Dunlop MX33s with gold lettering, but the '24s here in the east have MX33s with all black lettering. Is it perhaps a year-to-year thing?
@andrecontois851010 ай бұрын
Dunlop dosen't sell the stickers it's a promotional thing.
@dirtbiketv110 ай бұрын
They are the same-- We just put those stickers on the MXA bikes out here in So Cal

sucks you have to buy a whole bucket of the lube for 20 bucks and its enough for 10 life times, at least for me.....someone should sell 5 dollar tubs of the stuff......for us mear mortals
