You might wanna look into four strokes for the type of riding you guys are doing. Two stroke lack torque and longevity , you have to have the RPMs up to get any power out of them at all and you guys generally are just putting around on them. I'm in my 50s some days I go fast and some days I go slow I'm not saying anything about how you should ride just that you'll have a better experience from the reliability & usefulness of four strokes. even though it's probably half the bike the lady in this video was riding I would possibly recommend a CRF 250 F for her, which is the modern XR 250. If you wanna keep your cost of riding dirt bikes down I would definitely avoid all those European brands growing up today and in the future. Congratulations on your exciting moves and happy life together!

@@jgrc73 Four strokes are fun. My bike is a Kawasaki KLX140G. It works great for the riding we do and to learn on. The boys like their Enduro style 2-stokes. We ride mostly mountain trails and rough terrain. The 2 strokes don't flame out as bad. Chad has a 2013 Husaburg TE300, Silas has a 2003 KTM 200EXC, and Sawyer has a 2004 Kawasaki KDX200. These bikes are all on their second or third top end. Chad likes to work on them. He likes to buy old dirt bikes and restore them. We've had our share of four strokes, Silas started on an XR80 that we restored. Had an XR200 for a while that was nice. We fully rebuilt a 2009 yz450f that ended up being used as a timbersled. The XR200 is a bike we miss. That was a fun and reliable bike. Sawyer worked really hard to restore a 400ex ATV that was also one that we miss too. We are always looking for another restore project. Chad's latest restoration project was a 2017 RMK 800 sled.
