I've seen these pop up on my local amazon. These are illegal to own here so these it's really a 'hot' deal. Poor guys who order those knives without knowing the law and get tripple digit fines.

It is one of the least sensible laws in the United States IMO. It's easier to flip open a standard liner lock but those are fine to have. Oh, and also, EVERYONE HAS GUNS.

@@productreviewsalldayin Poland and most other European countries (as well as Canada where I live) it is legal to carry any size knife as a tool (albeit with arbitrary mechanism laws) However as soon as someone says “this is for self defense” it becomes a weapon, not a tool, being carried and is therefore unlawful under most circumstances. I carry 2-6 knives at a time and never have any problem because I genuinely DONT carry them for self defense. If I’m in a life or death situation yeah obviously I’m gonna use a knife if I have one but they’re actually pretty bad self defense weapons. If a guys beating my ass in a fair fight he’s probably gonna also just take my knife off me.

@@Bonsoirmonamie That's exactly it. Most people carry knives for utility purposes. Working in a warehouse, on the ranch, camping, hunting, fishing, etc. Shouldn't matter what kind of knife it is. They all have a pointy end.

It’s a great design just not the best execution. Think of how many folding/otf knives rely on some sort of spring - this one relies on absolutely none. I love that. Plus they’re fun to handle.
