Congratulations on 10 years of marriage to both of you! As far as the acorn caps, maybe filling the bucket with water would have floated them off, along with any other light stuff? Probably more trouble than it's worth, but if you're going to get your rocks off to a new area, at least they'd be clean :). Your wall turned out most excellent.

Weeds in the rocks, man I been chasing them for years. I quit using the fabric/plastic underneath, dirt just blows on top and the weeds sprout anyhow. I just spread Preen a couple times a year that seems to keep them at bay, we don't have children at home anymore so no worries about the chemicals. Hand held weed burners work good also . Enjoying your channel.

Man, don't sell yourself short, there IS a "point" to your video, you're improving your home place for your family, making it easier to look at, and increasing the value, doing it all on your own, with your sweat. That right there is something that 90% if these internet guru's have zero idea about. Also, I learned something on this video, I've been fishing and boating all my life, I did not know that companies were selling props with those pressed in, junky blades like that. Anyway, take care.
@SpicerDesignsLLC3 ай бұрын
Thanks buddy! I appreciate that. This is the fourth house ive done this to and i would have what i have if it wasnt for all the sweat equity. That prop was interesting. They charge you $25 per blade instead of hitting you with the whole prop. Not a bad system i guess.

@@SpicerDesignsLLC I've used landscape fabric under rocks for a few years now. Good woven geotextile fabric, not that cheap shit from the box store. I still get weeds rearing their ugly heads between the rocks. I wish you luck, the landscaping looks good. It is just much more than I would want to keep up with. Doesn't help that my wife won't bother to weed any of it. For your sake, I hope the keystone girl likes keeping up the landscaping.
