The misconception with buying better equipment like “Fanatec” & “Direct drive” are for more of a realistic feedback when driving, it doesn’t make you perform any better unless it does help you with a psychological aspect but yeah old equipment very viable especially the G25 or G29

Monster one , the way you downshifted and slid around that hairpin and then just gunned it .... unreal ..... amazing run ... I play controller for now , definitely need to get a wheel kit , seems you can have way more control on the turning and gas/brake/shift aspects . the speed on ur speedometer is measured with your wheel spin.. so it would make sense that it displays a lower speed than what he was actually moving at, simply because his wheels stopped moving as much

It was more like 5 seconds if you actually time from starting the braking and entering the corner. Still, that would require nearly 1g deceleration for the whole time and it might not be possible in real world unless there's slight uphill in the middle. Have you tried this game, it's far from easy.

Well he definitely is using different traction control setting than I am and best I have managed is 3:05 with TC at 2 and VSM at 2. I am going by call notes and not memorizatio although I have now memorised the first section just by repeated attempts. Im not sure these records are worth much as you could perfect it over a million tries and that's not rally

Most of the times I overshoot ... somehow. You got any tips for handling the car through that one? I see that your breaking are extremely effective through there, but I'm struggling a bit getting it.

@@trfff0 For braking sometimes u need to be tapping the brake instead of holding it. Just keep driving and learning all corners of the stage, braking points, etc. Thats the best advice I can give you. The more you know the stage = faster time.
